I was prepared to be annoyed when Bishop started to explain his plan (like ‘oh another eco activist who saw the bad things humans were doing to the planet and wanted to stop it but went too far and turned their environment activism into eviiiiiiil OooooOo’)

but then his plan was so crazy, and... not the least bit concerned with saving the planet, that it kind of salvaged the plot for me. Like his plan was ‘we destroyed the planet? pff, who cares about earth, I’ll just genetically modify humans to survive on this toxic wasteland.’
