Thinking about how proud I am of Rocky’s bit evolution. I know it’s all training and my goal to get us jumping in a simple soft snaffle has been reached and I’m so proud of how far the creature has come!
He used to wear (flat) in order
Single joint corkscrew fullcheek
Slow twist dr Bristol full cheek
3 piece sprenger smooth full cheek
3 piece copper Pelham (during winter lol)
Then we started jumping-
2 ring elevator
Segunda D (used twice)
Back to the 2 ring
We are now coursing in a 3 piece happy mouth D ring and he has gotten so soft and responsive that even on his most “explosive” days he really holds himself together and tries his hardest to be a good boy. He was like that today (hoootttt) but was listening so well
