My apologies if someone has already asked for this bit, as its a very popular and very old one, but I’m curious about the origin of “we all have them” / “theyre just like us” / “who needs ‘em?”
I’ve seen compilations of this bit, but by its nature it always feels like it’s referencing something else or some other time it was told? Like I honestly don’t even know what theyre joshing on here. Is it old tabloid/clickbait titles? And I think my hope is that if I can find the definitive beginning context of this bit that it’ll make more sense. iirc, I know some early appearances of “we all have them” etc. had to do with a drawing celebrities challenge? Though I’m unsure if those were the first
