the first one would be Bitch Brigade! I love this mostly because I love the name. IT’S GOT ALLITERATION. IT’S GOT TWO TERRIBLE PEOPLE BEING BEST FRIENDS, ROSELA AND DAMIER. They’re basically pale for each other and despite the fact that they’re like. Mad Max style murderers, they’ve got each other’s backs at all time. They’re the Real Feel Good Pale Team, even as they’re tossing bombs into pits of trolls.

Another one has to be How Bromantic, one part because of the name but one part because i love the ship itself. They’re two fleet guys who met when My troll, Gunny, was trying to infiltrate a platoon for Rebel Shit but ended up falling in love with Roland, Han’s guy. They slept together, escaped the fleet together, and now live on the run together. Gunny had the troll equivalent of a Gay Panic after he realized that yes, sleeping with Roland meant that he was gay in love with him and it’s not a bros being bros situation anymore and the bromantic part of the name is just fucking hilarious for me.

lastly, in a more serious note, another ship I love is There And Back Again. This one’s a lot more sentimental, because this is Carnas’s flush ship and his last flush relationship. He’s old! He’s almost at the end of his lifespan and he’s had plenty of partners he’s outlived and Severt (han’s character) is the last troll he’s planning on outliving. Being brownblooded and also at the end of his life, Severt doesn’t have much more of a future so their relationship is just... enjoying each other’s company. All they want is to spend time with each other knowing that they’ve got nothing to plan for in the future, they’ve got nothing to worry about career wise. It’s just them, in love and relishing it. The name itself too always makes me sad because it’s supposed to be a poignant reflection on their age and upcoming passings and not to mention Severt is the descendant of one of Carnas’s friends he met when he was ten sweeps old and on planet. Helvetic had a crush on Carnas that went unrealized and unreciprocated and Carnas never knew about it and if I remember right, Helvetic (due to over 750 sweeps since he last met him) is nothing more than a vague memory that’s only remembered when Carnas looks at the statues he carved centuries ago. He never sought out Severt either, with just fate and chance letting them meet and fall in love. Severt is Carnas ‘coming back’ to where he came from and his home and settling down.I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OKAY.

James, Shawn and tattoos

Shawn’s tattoos are a pretty even mix of ones they’ve had done by others and ones they’ve done themselves, and James isn’t sure how he feels about them. He was brought up in a relatively strict, traditional family, so he’s always been told that tattoos are bad and that he should never get one, but he realises over time that Shawn doesn’t just get them because they feel like it, they get them because they mean something to them.

The tissue box was the first time James noticed this. He’d seen all the tattoos on their arms, but never understood the meaning of them. Every time he learns the meaning of one of their tattoos, he feels like he knows them infinitely better because of it.

Their are some he might never know the answer to, some that hurt too much to share, some that are nothing more than inside jokes and some that were put there because of him. For example, there’s a chicken wing on their arm that represents the time Rex ate 4 chicken wings at once because he could, one of their mother’s name because they’re terrified they’ll forget her one day, the box of tissues on the back of their hand and a cage on their side.

Shawn took a while to open up about their mother, more specifically how they barely remember her, and it was obviously painful to share, but they did.

Shawn laughing is a rare occasion in and of itself, but he can honestly say he’d never seen them laugh so much as when they were telling the story of the chicken wings.

He now understands the tissue box, and thus his significance in Shawn’s life.

The cage is the one that bugs him the most though. Shawn’s got one fucked up past, he knows that, but he still doesn’t understand why. Regardless, it’s Shawn’s story, and one they’ll share if or when they’re ready to.

James’ closet has slowly transitioned from button ups and woolly jumpers to Shawn’s hoodies over time because their big and warm and they smell of Shawn (which is literally just a mix of coffee and paint)

The quiet room

As afore mentioned in the Minecraft HCs, they have a room dedicated to when the noise in the house gets too much, there’s been a fallout, one of them is having a bad episode, etc.

The rooms the size of a school class room

There’s pretty paintings with no real image on the walls

The paintings are just paint splatters and shapes and stuff, plus one Shawn did of all them

There’s decently sized pictures of landscapes like fields and beaches and things

There’s tall colour changing laver lamps in the back corners

The carpets a nice pastel pink

The walls are white but they’re covered with things so it’s fine

There is an aquarium with tropical fish in it, but no dolphins and turtles unfortunately

There is a rabbit called sprinkles because he’s white with brown spots

They all take it in turns to look after the fish and Sprinkles

There’s a list of rules too

• No speaking above whispering

• No glares or anything like that

• you can talk to the fish

• you can talk to Sprinkles

• you can talk to others about - the issue/s

• you can apologise if needed

There’s mats all over the floor

There’s bean bags everywhere

There a large corner sofa at the far end

There’s a pin board where you can stick anonymous notes to

They can say anything positive

Rex is in there most often because he can’t handle loud noise

It’s sound proofed

If any rules are broken you’ll be banned for as long as the rest of the group sees fit

There’s a music player but only soft songs are allowed to be played

By “soft songs” I mean like Ed Sheeran and stuff
