💎 @anontrolls is still one of my most favorite partners in the world. Their worldbuilding and dynamic characters (even the NPCs) mean that things are always fresh and exciting in rps, and I never know what exactly will happen next. 

My favorite troll of theirs is probably Kit, because I’m predictable, but while I love her for her depth, kindness, and the way her powers are handled, I’m also very fond of Lee and Hope. The former because his terrible coping mechanisms combined with his wacky adventures and bleak upbringing make for rp that simultaneously makes me laugh and fret, and the latter because her anger that could fuel a thousand suns is Relatable.

I also love their NPCs, like Proper, whose backstory and design are great, and Tink, who is Worst Zombie but also Best Horrible Joot Wearing Radio Host.

💎 @activatingaggro is ALSO one of my favorite partners in the world even if they are a Big Fucking Dork. Before I started rping with mar, I thought characters had to be “likable” and have more good traits than flaws to be fun and make sure anyone would want to rp with them. Rping with mar cured me of that and made me realize I could diversify my characters so much more and still have them be playable and interactable.

My favorite character of theirs ever is Riccin, because I find them personally relatable (not as a fucking murderclown, obvs, but with some of their anxieties and issues) and hilarious. However, I also love Sipara for being ostensibly on the side of good but ruthless as hell, and to my surprise I even wound up liking ID despite him being a character type I usually hate. 

I also like Pheres, but anyone who’s followed me any length of time knows I Love Pheres. 

💎 @kidskylark a.k.a YOU. I like YOU. Which is really funny because at first I thought “oh no, I’m too rough for them, we should stay separate” but I was a fool! You are resilient and sensible and fun, and we share interests outside fantrolls too that make you great to talk to.

Again: I didn’t expect to like Aleida, but now I love Aleida? A lot? They’re a beautifully done colorblind character, possibly the best I’ve seen in fantrolls, and now that I know their backstory I feel for them and I cannot wait to see more of their political career.

Ghurab is great fun as well, I’d love to learn more about her culture and see her interact with more trolls of mine some day. Shupaa is also wonderful, her character development is great to follow and I’m glad I get to be a part of it!

oh my god this is so hard. Let me pick my top 3? all of these ships, btw, are with @handarko

the first one would be Bitch Brigade! I love this mostly because I love the name. IT’S GOT ALLITERATION. IT’S GOT TWO TERRIBLE PEOPLE BEING BEST FRIENDS, ROSELA AND DAMIER. They’re basically pale for each other and despite the fact that they’re like. Mad Max style murderers, they’ve got each other’s backs at all time. They’re the Real Feel Good Pale Team, even as they’re tossing bombs into pits of trolls.

Another one has to be How Bromantic, one part because of the name but one part because i love the ship itself. They’re two fleet guys who met when My troll, Gunny, was trying to infiltrate a platoon for Rebel Shit but ended up falling in love with Roland, Han’s guy. They slept together, escaped the fleet together, and now live on the run together. Gunny had the troll equivalent of a Gay Panic after he realized that yes, sleeping with Roland meant that he was gay in love with him and it’s not a bros being bros situation anymore and the bromantic part of the name is just fucking hilarious for me.

lastly, in a more serious note, another ship I love is There And Back Again. This one’s a lot more sentimental, because this is Carnas’s flush ship and his last flush relationship. He’s old! He’s almost at the end of his lifespan and he’s had plenty of partners he’s outlived and Severt (han’s character) is the last troll he’s planning on outliving. Being brownblooded and also at the end of his life, Severt doesn’t have much more of a future so their relationship is just... enjoying each other’s company. All they want is to spend time with each other knowing that they’ve got nothing to plan for in the future, they’ve got nothing to worry about career wise. It’s just them, in love and relishing it. The name itself too always makes me sad because it’s supposed to be a poignant reflection on their age and upcoming passings and not to mention Severt is the descendant of one of Carnas’s friends he met when he was ten sweeps old and on planet. Helvetic had a crush on Carnas that went unrealized and unreciprocated and Carnas never knew about it and if I remember right, Helvetic (due to over 750 sweeps since he last met him) is nothing more than a vague memory that’s only remembered when Carnas looks at the statues he carved centuries ago. He never sought out Severt either, with just fate and chance letting them meet and fall in love. Severt is Carnas ‘coming back’ to where he came from and his home and settling down.I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OKAY.

😍: How does your muse act different once they start to like someone?

ROHATI: Super easily flustered, laughs a LOT at every joke they make, goes out of his way to coax them into conversations about their favourite things, chock full of compliments, probably knocks over so many things whenever he’s around them and proceeds to guiltily apologize for 700000 years after, wears his heart on his sleeve and it’s a mess

KAVOPA: Flirts shamelessly though her idea of flirting can be a little... Avant garde, honestly likes to find little ways to spoil her partners even if she’s a lil broke she’s Splenda Daddy™, many very corny pickup lines, gets much more open and expressive about her feelings, can and will tell everyone she knows about how great her prospective partner is, she’s not easy to embarrass but she’ll COO over people super openly and like pinch their cheeks etc.

🍫: In which ways do they deal with being lovesick?

ROHATI: Eats his feelings, throws himself wholeheartedly into his streaming, probably accidentally brings up the subject of his lovesickness a lot without realizing, looks like a kicked animal whenever he thinks people aren’t looking, TRIES TO FAKE SMILES AND KINDA FAILS because he is a terrible liar, broods for a pretty long time about it but is generally stable enough to move on within a couple of months

KAVOPA: Plays chill and apathetic about it but spends a lot of time on her own working on her paintings, probably avoids the source of the lovesickness like the plague, accidentally can seem kinda cold because she’s just trying to calm herself down and take some time to cool off, gets over it relatively quickly but takes a lot time to forget about it

💍: What do they like about being in love?

ROHATI: The sweet mushy feeling of just liking someone, and wanting to be around them all the time and listen to everything they have to say- his partner would be 10x more mush inducing than that, but he really does love being in love with someone

KAVOPA: Having someone to dote on and share the world with, being able to like joke and have a best friend that she could smooch and cherish and insist she play the big spoon to because that’s just how she rolls (she loves being the big spoon)

For the ten facts: give me your correct favorite, or the easiest to write?

Chylak’s easiest right now (tbh grad school has been eating my brain for so long it’s taking me a while to warm back up again :/ )

1. The cloth she wears around her shoulders is a straight-up blanket in her blood-color. It was a gift from her lusus when she first bonded with beetlemom, that has been secretly refreshed everytime her lusus realizes it’s wearing out.

2. OOC she was originally jade for a while, mostly because I thought the contrast between her paranoid and hermit personality versus the slight bombasticity of a rainbow-drinker was fun.

3. If she were to ever end up on a ship, it would be as a machine installation used to calculate probabilities on a large scale as the Thanalyt (death + analysis), and more or less resigned as such cuz hey, at least her episodes are controlled and channeled instead of hitting her upside the head whenever overly organic sounds get too much.

4. She is honestly so tiny. Like, petite under 5 feet tall tiny. I don’t know how much I’ve stressed that but y’all. She is legit ‘fun-sized’ versus full vs king (looking at some of those very large highbloods).

5. I also somehow neglected to share her age? Christ, I need to hop back onto this, but I waffle around 9 sweeps, though that then brings up the question of how she makes a living...and for that matter where exactly she lives

6. She’s pretty dependent on outside help in order to set up any privacy protocols on her computers. She knows what to ask for and what to expect, but the actual programming itself gets too fiddly for her.

7. As an oliveblood, she’s usually afforded a middling level of non-harassment, except for the fact that she is tiny and ill-socialized which tends to make her easy pickings for anyone looking to strut around like a big man on campus.

8. Believe it or not, there are rare photos of her actually being out at a concert and enjoying herself! Those times were the least-stressful in her life: surrounded by troll electronic music and people she would only know for that instant.

9. Her previous spade was less actual relationship and more trying to keep her kismesis’ attention enough to stop her from black-flirting with literally every talking thing on two legs. Eventually Chylak got fed up with her and broke things off through ghosting. She’s still annoyed at how her ex basically took that without breaking stride.

10. There are very few conspiracy theories she doesn’t know of.
