Hey im like 99% sure that pic of a white girl u posted is just a fake troll blog jsyk

so i was the one who posted it, and we honestly get tons of submissions and don’t have time to check every person’s blog before posting. i also am uncomfortable with checking on the identities of people who say they’re mixed race. so as a response to other people who have been asking how we could have posted that submission when it’s so clearly a troll, it wasn’t obvious to me, and i felt weird questioning. i’ll delete it, but i wanted to clarify why i posted it to begin with.

i get worried bc i think facebook curates other ppls’ news feeds so what if when ive been on someones profile i appear on their newsfeed or somewhere because fb thinks we should ~connect~ or something??? i hope thats just my paranoia tho lmao

actually i think the same thing! also with the “friends” thing on your profile, it usually shows you the people you interact most with (so if you think someone is cheating on you, you should probably see their “top friends” hahaha)  i hope it’s not true tho but maybe it is i mean it’s too much coincidence that he just happens to see on of my posts after i’ve stalked him ... every. single. time.

It’s turnover. If you gain ten followers but lose fifteen your follower count will decrease by five but your new follower count (which shows gain, not net gain) will still show ten. The problem is you’re gaining less than you’re losing.

okay but like

i'm not even concerned about the "new followers" count, I don't think that's even a factor here.  my main issue is that it was showing two completely different counts for the same time period, and that it's morphing and falsifying its own past data to make it look like I'm gaining followers still when I'm really on a downward incline.

Have u tried emailing support about it? They might be able to help?

I have not.  I don't think it's really an issue of "helping" in this case though as much as it is a case of needing to fix an overall broken system.  My biggest concern here is that this is likely not affecting me, but possibly presenting false information to others as well.

There’s about 18 hours left, though as long as it’s in by the time I wake up tomorrow (24ish hours from now) I’ll take it.
