Do you have Wegman’s where you are? (If not, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.) They carry a pretty big selection of British foods but it varies by location, you could try there! That’s where I get my Jammie Dodgers and Cadbury products.

we actually just got a wegman's (and everyone is losing their shit over it) but it's out in the burbs so i doubt i'll ever go. luckily the grocery stores near me have a decent amount british treats!

Tesco actually opened a bunch of supermarkets where I live, they called them “Fresh & Easy,” and they failed miserably and they declared bankruptcy on them and sold the whole chain, apparently there’s not room in our supermarket game for Tesco lollll

LOL wow. i can definitely see how the concept wouldn't translate to the u s of a, where no one wants to buy store-brand shit. (incidentally, the new 7/11 near my work recently got a brick thrown through their window because they bought out the prior family-owned store. so tesco would be smart to stay far, far away from here hah.)

The slightly fangirl Thursday morning post

Sooooooo, I love the blogs I follow. Obviously, or else I wouldn't follow them. But every now and then I really get into a blog that I HAVE to blog about. Today that blog is courtesy of bitchymama. Can I just say, reading her blog, I love it. I identify with it. In so many ways. For the intellectual thoughts, the real life adventures of being a mom and the absolute appreciation for all that is the Doctor and Rose, circa RTD era. She has the best posts and some of the best DW AU fanfic around. I was up until close to 4 a.m. reading her incredible series Fighting Gravity and falling completely arse over elbow for it. Plus, she's definitely not the oldest DW fangirl on Tumblr. I just turned 41. My 12 year old daughter loves that I am a big of a DW fan as she is. Older DW fangirls are the best because we get it and we can be sassy and witty and snarky about it without becoming stalker level obsessed, which is really kind of frightening to see. What I'm trying to say is, she's pretty spectacular and you should follow her if you don't already. 😆👍
