PayPal President David Marcus from E-bay say they will let people sell digital currencies in the classified ads sections of the sites. E-Bay and its payment platform PayPal addressed the sale and use of Bitcoin on its sites. The company plans to open a “Virtual Currency” category for the sale of Bitcoin and other digital currencies on the UK site.

A Taste of 2014 : Bitcoin and FACEBOOK!

Hi R/Bitcoin, big time lurker here, finally motivated to post. I’m a bit of a bull thats been feeling bullish lately, but I think bitcoin is here to stay in a big way. So it might not be for a couple months, but something big is happening. Bitcoin has uses and more and more people are seeing it. Which leads me to my post. I’ve begun to see random people on facebook talking about bitcoin. This is a big deal. Grandma uses facebook now. </story>

So was just scrolling down my newsfeed while I was getting ready to go out and I saw something remarkable. Someone casually dropping a Bitcoin address on facebook. Granted it was part of a joke about tech but I havent seen very much exposure of this sort, my hopeful side has me thinking, its a sign of things to come. </story>
