Astarion's contradictions in the Bite Night scene are hilarious and, because I am way too pedantic, I can see myself arguing with him endlessly— not because I'm unwilling to help, but because I can't help poking holes in his argument.

I wasn't going to hurt you, he says, aiming his big Doe Eyes 🥺 at you. I just needed... well... blood.

Astarion. My guy. My blood belongs inside my body. Removing it hurts and is usually considered a Bad Thing.

I got into the game Bite Night: Dine or Die, so i made the Player (sort of, he's more of my oc now, i guess)

As Astarion’s fangs sank into her flesh, she’d found herself embracing not only the sharp pain, but also the oddly soothing pleasure that bloomed in its wake.

For a few blissful moments, her mind had felt almost peaceful, her senses dulled by the loss of blood. It was a small reprieve from the voices in her head constantly urging her to destroy, and the sheer twisting dread of not knowing who, or what, she was.

She should have felt trapped under him, unable to move, but instead his weight had pressed down on her like a heavy blanket. It was unexpectedly comforting—both of them wrapped in their own private cocoon, blocking out the rest of the world.

And admittedly, she’d felt a considerable thrill knowing it was her blood causing those lovely moans that escaped Astarion’s lips, the growing hardness she could feel pressed against her abdomen, and the glazed look in his ruby eyes when he pulled away.

This concludes my little recreation of Tahlianna and Astarion's Bite Night. I had way too much fun setting up these photos and it helped me try some new angles ᥫ᭡

I DID SCIENCE Is there a special bite night if Karlach has her second engine upgrade when it happens?

YES!

it's... not fully finished! All the dialogue is there but the animations are a liiiiiittle wonky I don't blame them, like, what are the fucking odds a player is going to find this organically??

you have to be a) origin karlach b) not get bite night until act 2 c) not prevent bite night because he just told you he's a vampire

and boy once you put a toe into the underdark that boy REALLY wants to tell you he's a vampire!!!

I spedrun to act 2 without recruiting him, poor Astarion was just on that beach for weeks eating boars I guess. I could not click on him at ALL after recruiting him or he'd leap out of the coffin.
