Girl Power in Beacon Hills: The Women of Teen Wolf
To everyone who came to my panel at BiteCon 2014 Saturday, I just want to say thank you. I had been fighting nerves for weeks on end, that only got worse the closer I got to the Con. I put on a brave and confident face, asked for some other people to sit with me (thank you Donya and Courtney) and just went for it.
Every single person in that audience made me feel so welcome and so open to my ideas and my thoughts and my sometimes crazy AU ideas, that I was quite emotional when it was all done. I had a vague moment of shock when I was given the 5 minute warning, as I had been so sure I was going to crash and burn. Instead, I actually had to cut people off and I am so sorry if you did not get to speak up at my panel.
You all helped me make my panel what it was. Your ideas, your questions and your enthusiasm just floored me and I was so moved.
And then it got better. I got approached time and again from just after my panel on Saturday until I left to drive home on Sunday evening, with people telling me how much they loved my panel. I even had one fellow fan step back from his spot in the line to get Posey's autograph just to talk to me about my panel. Even thinking about it now is making me tear up.
So ... thank you.
