"yeah?" lips quirk, satisfied with the approving look he sends her. evelyn wants to protest - insist she has groceries to put away and things to prep before they eat, but it's a lie. just another normal activity that's been ripped from them ; one she tries not to think about as she pads for him before shooting him an amused look and closing her eyes.
