For some reason, my most peaceful memory is from when I was about 16 or 17, and I was dozing in the sun in the middle of studying for my country's SAT equivalents. Funnily enough, most of my peaceful memories that I invoke when I'm stressed are usually about me being half-asleep in bed.
2. Is there anything you’re competitive about?
Everything. But over the years I managed to turn the competitiveness into something constructive both for me and the other party (i.e., be geniuinely happy when they succeed, and use that success as motivation to become better at something) rather than negative (i.e., refuse to do something because I'll likely not be the best in it).
3. Favourite food that you can prepare yourself?
Pretty much everything I've got both the recipe and the materials for! But by far my favourite comfort food is fresh grated tomatoes with small avocado chunks. It was one of my constant foods as a kid and a teenager, and I still make it when I feel particularly down.
4. Rec a book/movie/TV show that you think not enough people know about.
... just one? Okay. The Twelve Kingdoms (Juuni Kokki/Juuni Kokuki) books/anime series by Fuyumi Ono. My most favourite piece of fiction in the world. What if I did a seductive powerpoint presentation for that ...
5. How do you prefer to deal with stress?
Preference: Ignore it until it goes away. What actually happens: I break apart and have a depressive episode that forces me into a stand-still for a couple of years and the by-product is that I quit doing the stressful thing. Highly unrecommended.
6. On average, how much time do you spend on tumblr, really?
Way too long. But I'm not JUST on tumblr when I'm at the computer, but on other sites in parallel, so I'm not sure quite how to answer this.
7. Where else do you hang out aside from tumblr and livejournal/dreamwidth/journalfen?
I used to be very active on LJ and later twitter, but it's nowadays it's really mostly tumblr. On chat I can be found regularly on Gchat and Skype (if you're interested in having my contact info on either place, let me know - I'd rather not to post it in public). I'm a big fan of DreamWidth.
8. What are your sleeping habits like?
Non-existent. Highly irregular. Utterly despairing. I'm trying.
9. Anywhere you’d like to go visit in your lifetime if time/money/other commitments weren’t an issue?
At the moment ... no. I'm pretty travelled-out, after England. I'm very much of a stay-at-home sort of person.
10. Any skills you’d like to learn if time/money/other commitments weren’t an issue?
Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. I mean. Those are the skills I need to learn before May. :P I'd like to learn how to art, how to math, and like to get back to singing. Maybe even actual official music training.
11. Any book/movie/tv show/other media you’d like to see a adaptation/reboot/sequel/reimagining in your lifetime?
I'll have to say 12 Kingdoms here again. I wish they'd animated Youko & Risai's book and Shushou's and the short stories, and I wish Fuyumi Ono would continue the series. (Honorable mention goes to 'moar of hxh, please!', but that might be pushing it.)
1. Favourite genre? Action, romance, mystery, etc.
Hmm. It depends on the way a story is told more than its genre, but I find that the type of stories I like are usually told in sci-fi and fantasy.
2. If you could live in any fictional world, which would it be?
The Vorkosigan saga 'verse, I think. It's got running water, electricity, some sort of internet, modern medicine, and it's not all-violence all-the-time.
The Twelve Kingdoms. I know, I know, it's getting repetitive, but I really do love it to bits, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's capable of dealing with the subjects it raises.
4. An HxH question: what Nen type do you think you would be, and what ability would you make for yourself?
Either an emitter or a manipulator. Ideally I'd like to have the ability to create a time-slowing bubble around myself so I could sleep in as much as I wanted to without being late everywhere, or catch up on stuff until I'm ready for time to move on again.

Pisces decan 1. It used to be a lot more accurate than it is now. I fit better to the earth dragon traits than the pisces decan 1 traits - or, rather, I'm a mix of both + a few extras. (It doesn't help that the signs contradict each other, which I find endlessly entertaining.)
7. Something stupid you did when you were a child? (We’ve all had at least one incident, right?)
Actually ... the thing I regret the most that I did as a kid is me quitting school. I don't mean high school - I'm a middle school dropout (see: my answer to no-gorms about how I deal with stress). I managed okay to make up for the academic high school requirements, but I lost precious years in practicing how to be social with people - something I desperately need to this day.
8. Any kinds of food that you absolutely will not eat?
Red bellpeppers. In any way, shape or form. Likewise fennel. Get them away from me no way go away and take them with you.
My life in a nutshell. I'm incapable of thinking inside the box. It ... causes quite a few clashes.

I am often described by people in meatspace as "cold, distant and apathetic". It used to irritate me, but now I'm mostly resigned to it and even amused by it.
