3. how long have you been aware of your sexuality/gender? it first dawned on me when i had a crush on a harvest moon character...... but gender took longer. gender took until like mid high school, and now im just rollin
17. what’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to lgbtq characterization in media? well, a, lets stop killing them ! also, queer characters being used as accessories. like oh here they are for their brieeeeef plotline, them boom Gone.... also lesbians being hypersexualized? im gray and a lesbian? lots of us exist! also not all of us undergo turmoil coming to peace with ourselves!
24. how do you feel about the term “queer” ? i love the term ! i myself feel more ambiguous in my sexuality (but im a lesbian yknow), so queer feels more broad and encompassing. but i can see where people would be uncomfy !
27. any tips for heterosexual and/or cisgender people on how to handle lgbtq events/news? one: shut the fuck up for 3 seconds. after that, let US talk. let US use our voices. its high time allies shut the fuck up and just stood back. dont make the news about u, dont talk about how god had this coming for us, dont talk about how it affects your kids.... just relax, ma! relax!!!!
