Judas Garden of Gethsemane
The prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane happened late on Thursday night, just hours before Jesus's arrest and crucifixion early on Friday morning. It took place immediately following the Last Supper, after Jesus and his disciples walked to the Mount of Olives. Judas was not among the disciples during that prayer; he had already left the group earlier in the evening to meet with religious authorities and coordinate the capture. He only returned to the garden at the very end, leading the guards to identify Jesus.
The account of Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane is found in three of the Gospels: Matthew, Mark, and Luke. John's Gospel mentions Jesus going to a garden across the Kidron Valley, but doesn't include the prayer itself. In Matthew, the passage is Matthew 26 verses 36 through 46. Mark has it in Mark 14, verses 32 through 42, and Luke's version is in Luke 22, verses 39 through 46. Do you want me to read any of those specific sections for you?

Yet not as I will, but as you will."
Luke includes this detail. In Luke chapter 22, verses 43 and 44, it says: "An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground."
