What books would you recommend to people to show them what kind of things you like?
When I was in high school, my favorite books were The House of the Scorpion, 1984, The Catcher in the Rye and The Color Purple. I also really loved all the Harry Potter books and the Princess Diaries series (I love Meg Cabot’s writing). Stephen King’s works, especially It, and most works by Tolkien and George R. R. Martin are some of my absolute favorites (because of my mom who read them to me when I was younger - well, the age appropriate ones). 13 Reasons Why, Before I die and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl are among more recent works that I adore. Gone Girl and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo were really good too. I like to read, but nowadays I mostly write. Hopefully, one day people will be able to read a published book of mine as well, and not hate it completely.

I'm the Durnan-anon. Welp, take your time and let us know when you figure out who he is. It's always interesting to think up a personality and backstory then suddenly turning that into a changing character with every action and word uttered. And feel free to ever revisit that previous ask and answer it - I really enjoy improvising D&D things.
The biggest issue for me is that I’m trying to figure out if he’s been corrupted for a while or if he’s been newly corrupted by his pact with a cursed blade at the start of a campaign. This is the biggest factor in his character arcs as well as his general behavior. If he’s newly corrupted, he might still be descending into the darkness that will make him become fallen with this internal struggle between his celestial heritage versus this sword’s curse. And even writing this I’m conflicted. Is his sword, Durandal, like most hexblades and has a connection to the Raven Queen? Is it not? If not, who? Is his sword a legitimate inheritance passed down a family line or is it a trap gift that was meant to steer him away from the righteousness of his blood? This combination that I’m working with (Aasimar, Hexblade, Inheritor, Neutral Evil) brings a lot of questions to the table that I want answers for before I can really feel comfortable with thinking up his personality.
Candy
Candy: favorite thing to eat on a date?
hm that’s tough… I just kinda eat whatever without thinking about if it’s necessarily for a date or not yknow? I’m always a pasta girl tho, love me some Italian food 😍
Can you make a "this is me" playlist? ... 7 songs?

Movie Ask 20
20: Your pet peeves in movies?
Hm, I personally don’t like it when things are done for no reason other than dumb humor or shock value I guess? Like if you’re gonna have a comedic relief character, make them more than just that. And if you’re trying to be scary, don’t rely on cheap jump scares or unnecessary gore, etc. I like when things tie together or mean something :)
