If you wanted to get a job done, you had to do it yourself. While the others were busy putting themselves in a panic—on a more reasonable stand point, it would be understandable to be frazzled and even scared when you are blasted into the past, a past where they all have heard the history of. And to top it all off, they have never faced an operation this big, still young in the mafia world—but Emi did not have time to be scared.
As it may seem, she was the only one of them capable of moving forward with a calm, leveled head and that alone makes the other’s dead weight to her.
The 11th Cloudian was smart and resourceful, and she picked her way through the desolated streets of Namimori. It was not the small town she was familiar with, and it almost amazed her how much change has come to pass. While she felt like she was wandering aimlessly, her body seemed to know where to go—and if she has learned anything from Ayane, it was to trust her intuition.
Something caught her eye and she came to a stop, her hand moving to her hip instinctively. Her fingers curled around her Box-Weapon, ready to plug her ring into the socket and engage battle if need be. However, her crystalline eyes widened in recognition and she couldn’t help but to give a small click of her tongue.
Her intuition was right. It took her straight to Hibird, and if Hibird was around, that can only mean one thing. If she had any reservations or concerns about how she would explain her sudden appearance, knowing very well the kind of person her mentor was, she didn’t show it. Only arrogant confidence guided her actions as she made a small series of gestures; they seemed insignificant to anyone, but it was the motion Hibari himself had taught her in concern towards Hibird.
As expected, the fluff of yellow fluttered towards her and perched on her shoulder. “Hey there,” she cooed, using a finger to gently stroke his puffy chest. “How long do you think it would take for him to show himself?” She asked the bird, though he gave no response to her question. Once more she continued to wander through the streets, heading towards the direction she suspects the base would be—based on the location of their own in her time. Either she will stumble upon the base entrance herself, an enemy will find her first ( in which she was already prepared for, ) or the man in question would come and find her himself.
After all, she could safely assume that the secutrity measures would be high given the history of this time period. She was acting blindly, and alone, but that wasn’t atypical for Cloud users such as herself. She had no idea how to prove herself and her alliance whenever they find her, or she them, but that was a matter she can deal with when it arrives.
