BitNami Features & Pricing
BitNami is a comprehensive cloud hosting and management solution that is powered by Amazon Web Services. BitNami features multi-account management, which allows users to easily move servers across AWS accounts and availability zones with a single click. BitNami also advertises “no lock-in” for its users, meaning that the cancellation of your BitNami account won't result in a loss of your AWS account settings or server backup images.
BitNami can also be extended, using add-ins, that provide additional applications and functionality to the platform. PostgreSQL, Tomcat, JBoss, Varnish, Solr, Redis and OpenOffice are some of the applications that can be added to the BitNami platform with a single click.
BitNami offers a free account to developers that provides cloud hosting capability for a single server instance. Paid accounts include a Basic Plan that includes cloud hosting for up to 3 server instances. Business and Enterprise Plans are also available with cloud hosting for between 3 and 50 server instances. All paid plans are billed monthly, with flat rate pricing based on various ranges of alloted server instances. BitNami Cloud Hosting subscriptions do not include the cost of hosting your applications, as those charges are billed to each user directly by Amazon.
