today is my birthday and i just got here but im already leaving

coming to terms with my idealism

that i am not only hopelessly porous

but also helplessly torn

between competing ideals that leave me stranded and dripping with emotions

I feel empty and knotted inside. two mancala marbles skipping across the glassy sea. I’ll sleep when it rains.
