I'm so excited to watch Bitten when it comes out next year but seriously, why are they trying to make out it's similar to Twilight? There is no 'Love Triangle'. Poor Phil, I felt for him in the book, but the producers can't seriously think he's any sort of competition against Clay? When you have fantastic material, you don't need to change it to fit in with what has worked in the past. Strong, independent woman who kicks ass and doesn't need protecting? Check. Hot, naked men who also happen to be smart, not overly possessive and trust the female to make the right choice? Check. The essence of family and moral choices? Check. Realistic wolves? Check. And the ability to let the protagonist believe in herself, trust herself and not worry about what others think? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK. You have that, ain't no need to fuck about with the story telling.
