Why would I try again with a master who purposefully didn’t tell me that they weren’t coming back?

It looked almost like an obstacle course with how it was set up. Yet the main focus of the dream, was his company. Another scorpion he couldn’t remember the face of, humming and offering tips on how to repair the blades as she crafted a dark blue and purple cloak.}~

Why are there so few scorpions?

Well my civilization in Hallownest, Nest of Deep, died out years ago. We had been suffering from a total collapse in our political structure when the Infection began. Bugs starved or got infected, so the survivors fled. Few made it out of the dangers that protected our home from outsiders.

Some made it to Deepnest, but not much farther than that. My father and I made it into the Wastes, and he passed when I was old enough to hunt for my own meals.

I kept walking, kept wandering, kept going, until I found Kingdom’s Edge. Until I found something to do with myself. Until I found the Blackwyrm.

If there are any others from my home still alive… I’d like to meet them.

What do you mean by that, anonymous bug? My life is not tied to his as far as I can recall. He left me behind at the Edge, didn’t contact me until I spoke with Lament!
