He'd been a fledgling, Mina knew that as soon as she came into New Orleans. The amount of attacks and the viciousness of them made her think his maker had died, abandoned him or didn't care.
It used to be back in the day that New Orleans was De Lioncourt territory. But he'd gone long ago the rumors were. Some say he moved on, some say he died. He'd not done much with hiding his identity. Mina had heard rumors for years there were two men and a child that lived in a townhouse on the fancier side of town.
But with two world wars and plenty of monsters of her own, she'd just never gotten to get to New Orleans before they all disappeared.
Years passed, someone moved back into the territory. Mina realized that this vampire; whomever he was wasn't too bright. He prowled the same areas every night. Mina watched from afar as he caught rats. Followed him to a shack on a poorer side of town. He never felt her presence, never picked up on her scent.
Yeah, his maker was something alright. Didn't even teach him the basics.
She entered the shack with her machete drawn. She knew it wouldn't be hard to do. Wild ones were predictable in their unpredictability. She'd kill him and go up north.
She heard some music when she entered the property. Followed it, checking every room as she passed, listening for any noise.
And found a hunched blonde man.
What the fuckkkk
"Who is this?" the rat catcher said, nearly startling her, "Who are you?! What are you doing here?"
