I was also gifted a physical copy of this book for Christmas. This is the 4th book in the Stillhouse Lake series and OMG was it amazing. I think it's probably my favourite so far which is hard to say because they have all been so brilliant. Just picture this: a religious cult, young men going missing, and a fight to save so many lives. I can't even put into words how epic that ending was. We got to see a lot more of Connor's POV in this book and I really loved his development throughout the book. This book really does capture the whole 'no rest for the wicked' because there is so much that happens. Gwen Proctor and her family really go through it. The peaks in the book are forever spiking. I was completely hooked by the prologue and spent yesterday reading almost the whole book. I cannot recommend this series enough and also this author!
