1) Who does your dream concert consist of?
oh god. um. Led Zeppelin. Mainly. And i'm not one of those crazy people who are like 'Axl and slash hbjdskfhjakdhfj" because i love the new GnR (Dj Ashba is sex. just. hjfsk) BUT the Appetite era Guns n Roses would be pretty amazing. And. i don't know. various other insane music-makes who would tear the place down n shit like that. yep.
2) If any tv show could be your life, which would you choose?
i don't even watch tv! but um. probably How i met your mother? thats the only one i watch on a regular basis (by which i mean on DVD in one big ice-cream fuelled weekend)
3) where do you live and do you like it there? If not, where do you wanna move to?
I live in Brisvegas (brisbane) queensland, australia. And i do love it here :) but i would like to live somewhere thats not australia. i love big cities. so maybe new york. or london. except both of those are cold. Me and my friend were going to start a micro-nation in a lighthouse of the shores of LA in year 12, and kid nap rockstars to come live with us. So there, i guess.
4) If you could spend a day with any person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you do?
ummmmmm The Beatles? maybe? and just spend all day jamming? i have a list of all these people somewhere, and now im drawing a blank. Anyone who can share a new perspective on anything im willing to sit and just listen to all day. or if they're pretty. i have no idea. i've never really thought about the 'why." Maybe Elvis Presley. and i'd ask him is he's really dead.
5) What is your most disturbing deja vu moment?
i'm not sure if its Deja Vu, but every monday morning i walk out of my 'My Life As A Musician' lecture and realise i have no idea what just happened in the last hour. its quite disturbing.
6) If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don't like, and like so many things we don't do?
WHAT KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT? I'm kidding. I have no idea! everyone has a different reason for doing stupid things. because if you stayed doing the things you liked, then you'd never do anything new and your life would be stupid boring? i dunno. because we let the materialistic and career focused small mindedness of society rule us into thinking we have to do something because the world says we do, and not doing stuff society says is bad. i dunno. feel free to insert more cliches in here is you want.
7) what makes you truly happy?
the bit just before and after a good performance. i think most of the best memories of my life are in those moments. maybe.
8) Favourite Tumblr?
DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!! sorry, i can't do that. its like choosing between my children. my so -hypothetical-theyre-not-even future children.
9) Whats your favorite way to make up?
haha. Warmly. at 1pm. after i've been running in the morning, had a shower and gone back to bed, and i wake up like 4 hours later with the sun shining, cat stevens playing and nothing to do except eat lunch and go play music.
10) What did you want to be when you were little and do you think you will ever be?
i don't even remember! i think i wanted to be in the navy. so maybe. if i ever get desparate and join the defence force band. NOT that thats a 'desperation' thing, i don't think anyone turns to the defence force as a last resort. But its on the list of 'possible jobs if i ever find myself actually needing a stable career that makes money'. i don't know. patriotic people are going to hate me now. i have nothing against people in the defence force, and i appreciate what they do for our country. its just i know i couldn't do it.
11) When in your life have you had a 'now or never' moment?
haha. I'm terrified of everything, and kind of addicted to thrill. which i guess, is good, because I'm get a thrill every time i do something I'm scared of, which is often because I'm scared of everything. So. every time i perform. every time I go meet someone new. every time I've gotten a new piercing. i don't know.
