lorenz hasn’t been a ‘gardener’ for particularly long. they certainly knew more about flowers than they did before entering the hobby, but to speak of all the scientific applications certain plants had was beyond him. witnessing moira take some samples from the garden certainly had him curious, especially from a flower he at least thought was poisonous.
