"What a dumb thing to do, Andi-chan!" Erika scolded, pressing her hand tightly to the other's waist. Okay, she didn't think the bullet went too close to her vital regions, but there was enough blood to coat the blonde's entire right side and she didn't want to release the pressure long enough to see where exactly the wound was.
Erika knew she should have avoided that area, but it was the closest way back to the apartment and she was tired (and maybe a little sick from overeating). The brunette ran on ahead, thinking it might be fun to race Andi to the door, when she rushed herself into the center of a fight between two rival gangs.
Sweet talking only got her out of some situations. Other times she met the business end of a baseball bat or some other blunt object, but why on this day was it a firearm?
Before Erika could move to defend herself, someone had already rushed in to deflect the bullet. Of course, since Andi was not wearing any sort of deflective material, she took the weapon to her body instead.
And like the cowards they were, both gangs fled. They didn't want to be incriminated for holding an illegal weapon.
"Maybe it makes me a hypocrite cus I would have done the same thing," Erika's eyes watered, one hand blocking the entry wound to stop the blood, the other hand hurriedly calling Kyohei -- because she thought it might be safer than calling the police, "But... but don't ever do that again!"
