🌈 For my final LGBTQ+ History Month spotlight, I’m highlighting Ellyn Ruthstrom, a longtime advocate and leader in the bi+ community.
Ellyn has been the Executive Director of SpeakOUT Boston since 2014 and has been involved in activism for more than 25 years. She served as president of the Bisexual Resource Center for a decade and helped organize the first White House Roundtable on Bisexual Issues in 2013.
Beyond her national advocacy, Ellyn has uplifted youth and feminist voices as a former commissioner on the Massachusetts LGBTQ Youth Commission and as Editor-in-Chief of Teen Voices magazine.
