I genuinely feel bad for you anon but it's well-known to the majority of the vinyl hobby that on Y!JA you're only getting a head unless otherwise noted by the text itself. No body, no wig, no eyes, just that sweet fancy customized head for anywhere from $50 USD to $5000 USD (and up!) The head is considered to house the soul of the doll, so people pay handsomely for the work. I hope you still enjoy the head, at least.

recently, I bought a legit doll for super cheap. Like 1 dollar plus shipping. It’s definitely legit. So I’m left wondering why someone sold it for that low? In the description they said the dealer they bought from to get the doll, so it’s not like a family member who doesn’t understand bjds selling it. They would clearly know the worth. While waiting for the doll I was wondering if I was gonna get scammed in some way but nope… fully legit doll in great condition arrived at my door. I hope the pricing wasn’t an accident or something. It was an auction if that matters, the starting bid was 1 dollar and no one else bid against me. I’m so curious as to what happened so I would love to hear your guy’s thoughts on the matter.

Please be careful with yahoo auctions for custom dollfie heads. I was barely burnt a while ago because the artists use intentionally misleading photos - I just assumed I was getting what was actually pictured. To my horror I had paid nearly $1000 for a head with no eyes and nothing else, not even a wig. Buyee wouldn’t allow a refund even though I felt it was a scam because this was in the fine print but I was never warned and the photos showed a doll with an outfit. It’s better to commission.

Some clarification since some of you are adding your own context to be outraged. RE a friend announcing they are bidding. I have my HGs. I keep my wants to myself. This person goes "HEY IM BIDDING" as dibs on the item, when I was a bidder days before they even announced it. Somehow all their announcements are her "grails" to deter others. Is their want more important than mine? STFU & bid. Got outbid? tough titties. Why the entitlement? Ive lost auctions to them, but I dont throw tantrums jfc
