Long time no post, shit's been rough af, especially with the quarantine. But, I am starting to get back into bjds again. I have a super cute Danhong head ordered from Studio Insert

and I plan to get her dyed a light tan colour so I got her in white. Next pay I'm putting a Doll Legend body on layaway bc I've always admired those bodies, plus there's an event with 10% off and a free(!) pair of jointed hands, and I love the look of those hands <3 I've missed having a big girl to spoil tbh. I was almost gonna go for Ringdoll's new MSD girl Miu, but then I saw this girl and she looks too cute for me to pass up, and I usually end up selling my msd girls due to losing interest anyway. I want to get her a peach coloured wig, and hopefully a faceup by one of my grail artists eventually

Seeing as how my Stella head and Lily just aren’t selling I’m just gonna end up keeping them now. I found an old concept I drew up of a rainbow theme I was gonna do with the Stella head so I may end up going ahead with that, though I’ll need bodies first, since Dimitri still has no body, and I may end up making Dimitri and Stella brothers, I’ll see how I feel after making this rainbow wig. Dunno about Lily though, I might end up getting a Fantasy Doll body for her, or maybe I’ll send the body away to be sueded and wired, idk.

So my MK Julien and Fairyland RFA head finally sold, so I just put down a layaway payment for a Soom Mylo/Luts hybrid I’ve been eying for ages on the DOA marketplace ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve narrowed down the list of names for the girl I’m planning down to:

-Gabrielle

-Victoria

-Charlotte

-Amelie

I’m looking at older French names mainly, I’m going for a refined, elegant look for her, but still young since her character is only 15. But I like all these names though TT.TT I guess her name will just have to be decided after she’s home and finished.

I’m thinking that if I haven’t found the doll head I want by the time all my other doll stuff sells, I’m gonna go for Luts kid delf Pine, or if I see the 2012 winter event head pop up I might jump on that too. I just really want that doe eyed sort of aesthetic for the girl I want to shell.

Just sent out Ruoyi and my Allen head to their new owners. My bjd collection is slowly being pruned, though I’m still undecided as to whether or not to sell my Doll Zone Brant as he is quite handsome but I don’t do anything with him :/

At least I have money set aside in case a Dream of Doll Pitts comes up on the second hand market, not that I have particularly high hopes given that I’ve had a few hits on my wtb post but no bites yet. I’m so very tempted to get another doll that’s been on my wishlist for a while, but I’ll hold out for Pitts ‘cause I guarantee you that if I buy the other doll that’s when she’ll pop up and then I’ll have no money left to buy her T.T

I had to hunt around to find where I hid these away, but I found some cute girly things for Millefuille since she’ll be here soon. I actually got these in a Dollheart fukubukuro, the hair pin is for SD girls, but it’s perfect for her, I want her to have lots of cute oversize hair things like this <3

also WTH @ past me, I just realized I never mentioned here that my CreamSoda Lily has been paid off and is on her way to me! She’ll be here later this week and I can’t wait to see her <3 I have a dress, shoes, temp wig and eyes all ready for her. I’m giving her the Liria fullset eyes for now and I plan on making her wig later down the line since it’s gotta be a pastel blue to pink gradient. Gotta be that, and I want super super sparkly eyes for her too. She’ll be waiting a while for a faceup tho ‘cause the artist I wanna send her to is US$80, which is money I technically have right now, but I’m holding off just in case some emergency bill comes up. It would be just my luck that I’d secure a slot, pay, and then oh hey surprise, you actually need to pay for this super important thing that you forgot was coming up due. Also, slots for said artist fill up FAST.
