BJD DAY OF LOVE - FEB. 14th

Just like last time!!! I won't be able to reblog anything here because of school, but asks will still be posted. I mean seriously the amount of people in this hobby that I need to give love to, I'd be here all night. (its already taken me 2 and a half hours to write this much -.-) I know its a bit late, but better late than never. just the few (heh few) names listed above are the people who inspire me in some way shape or form in this hobby (granted its in no order just as i found and remember them). from your collection to your personality and all the way down to your tutorials, tips or tools of the trade. please keep doing what you do, and making this hobby as wonderful as it can be.

BJD Day of Love

I know I’m late for that event, but I wouldn’t be able to participate even if I had my laptop with me. Besides, I think it’s never too late to spread some love. :)

@karla-chans-bjds I could probably write a small book about how important you are to the community. You’re creative person, versatile artist and your dolls are beautiful. They always make me smile and give me a kick to work on mine, even if I don’t always let you know. But most of all, you’re strong person who doesn’t let hatred get under your skin. You’re smart and supporting friend, you’re example for me.

@tenasilvertear Your imagination is wonderful! I can see so much passion in your dolls, their stories and clothing you make. You’re a kind person and inspiration for me to move forward.

@mogrifae You’re skilled artist of many trades, and way too modest about it! To me your dolls are mysterious, magical and beautiful. I love everything about them, from face-ups to clothing, wigs and then the way you capture them on photos. You’re a kind, fragile and supportive person. :)

@petesy What can I say, your sewing is simply stunning! Each outfit you make is a display of skill and great attention to the details. Looking at them makes me want to improve and motivates me to keep on sewing. Your dolls are cute.

@thebjdhotel I adore how kind and warm person you are. When I think of you, I think Rose Quartz. Your dolls are such happy gang, I enjoy seeing them. And you made great improvement with face-ups!

All of you folks are amazing people, who inspire me to keep on improving, and not just within bjd community but in being a better human too.

I’d like to also mention @nissinirvani @ssapdra. I haven’t had the chance to see your dolls or get to know you, but your blogs are a voice of reason to me.

@turtlejenjen I don’t know you well either but I think your sewing skills are fantastic!

@pretty0things Your sewing style is unique and versatile. The fact you don’t use patterns and manage to make such complex pieces is impressive. So is the way you match fabrics. Your dolls are beautiful and like your creations, unique.

And to everyone else who wasn’t mentioned, you’re all valuable and important people too, I just haven’t met you yet.

I wish we could all keep in mind that staying positive doesn’t cost us much and has better impact on community than throwing around negativity. And even if you think someone’s doll looks ugly, look at it again, is it really all you see? Because I believe dolls are more than just fancy face up, clothes and crystal clear photos. Dolls are passion and love poured into pieces of plastic by their owner. And if you can’t see that, then maybe you lack it yourself.

Be kind to each other.

@kayke-knadle – You are soooo incredibly talented I just kjahsdjfgaghaffffffffff!!!!!  I look forward to your posts!  I love seeing what you're working on!  You're an amazing creative force in this hobby, who consistently just blows me away with not only your on-point dollie fashion ensembles, but with your kindness and generosity, as well.  Seriously, how do you get paint to do the things you make it do?!  You're some kinda glittermancer or somethin I dunno but it's awesome!!

@feileastram – Hey guess what!  You are a wonderful person to chat with and have such a lovely doll collection!  I'm super into so many of your dolls that it just isn't even funny and just love the WIP photo updates you do!  At first, I'd thought my fav was Oliver.  Then, I'd thought Gerdy was my fav, but now Persephone and that gorgeous wig happened and my feels – they are strong!!  I think I'm just going to have lots of favorite dollies from you, okay?!
