I'm so thankful for the artists who create beautiful sculpts. I'll drool over dolls any day---way more fun than drooling over turkey! ^^
I'm thankful for my family sharing this hobby together-- this Christmas my mom is going to get her first bjd, a tiny, and since all her kids are already doll hobbyists, she's also getting a little display room, more clothes, props, a custom faceup and wig... It's exciting to be part of giving her everything for the doll she chose, but it's even better to know I never have to justify my hobby to my family, and to know we can go to meets and conventions together and have a great time!

BJD DAY OF LOVE - FEB. 14th
Just like last time!!! I won't be able to reblog anything here because of school, but asks will still be posted. I know there were some people who felt left out last time, so let's try to include those smaller blogs we follow as well! If you have any ideas on how to get everyone included, please let me know! Hey! #BJDDayOfLove was amazing! I loved seeing all the nice, sweet positive things being said about people, even if none of them were about me. Made me feel good to see that people actually know how to care and be nice. I think we should have this tag monthly or every two months at least so that it gets well known and becomes a thing on BJD Tumblr in 2016. What do you think?

Just a reminder that even if your name wasn’t mentioned during these two days doesn’t mean that no one likes you. It doesn’t mean you were looked over, that you aren’t appreciated, or any other horrible outcome you can think of. It’s a busy time of year for a lot of people, which is why I included two days. You’re just as important as everyone else! I would have loved to have a day where everyone is entered into a type of “secret santa” and you just give a bunch of compliments to your assigned person, but this was all such a quick thing. I’m so sorry that an event meant to be so happy hasn’t been as positive for some as it was for others. Please don’t let this get you in a bad mood :(
I know the BJD positivity day was meant to be a nice occasion, but theres is nothing more effectively pushing me deeper into depression, than seeing all the people I know, that I love and sent nice messages to, just forget to meantion my name. It’s heartbreaking to see all the praise and getting none…I thought I was a good friend to them, but I guess I’m still not enough.

Just because you weren’t mentioned doesn’t mean no one cares! I’m so sorry that you feel left out, but it’s hard to think of every person in the hobby! We just have so many wonderful people, and believe me, no one purposefully left you out! I wish I knew who you were so I could make sure you get included if it really means so much to you :) You sound like a very sweet person and just remember that even though it wasn’t said these past two days doesn’t mean no one thinks it! Stay positive :)

Thank you to the folks who included me in their bjd love posts yesterday. I’ve been having a hard time recently so it meant a lot to see my name on a couple lists. <3 And here is my own, though I am sure I’ll forget someone.
@suwalo one of my partners in dolly crime, and one of the most loving and giving people I have ever met. @nonniemous who rounds out this outlaw trio. I knew we were soulmates from the moment we met, and I still love and admire the inspirations for and directions you take your dolls @sicktress you’re like a sister to me. I love your dolls and I love you even more. @glyndarling absolutely my spirit twin, and also answerer of butt plug questions. Never doubt my crush on you (and your dolls). @funnylori my almost-birthday twin and Kun aficionado. Thank you for always offering my pedestrian ass a ride, and for getting me mentally perhaps more than anyone ever has before. Also she’s a no good dirty enabler. “It’s a collection” indeed! @illuminateddoll damn you are talented. One day I hope we can have a Hannibal marathon. I am hella buying one of your hearts tomorrow (I AM SO EXCITED). @harucasting Thank you for existing. Thank you for choosing me to be one of the winners of an Adori head. You have breathed new life into this hobby and I wish you prosperity and joy for 2016. I am so glad to count you among my friends. @charlietheskonk & @onionbulb You guys are the cutest? Thank you for always being interested in what I’m doing with my dolls. @champignons your dolls and props are among the best in this hobby. Oh how envious I am of your doll caravan! Also your son is the cutest. @coreiseuse I miss you and your dolls <3 @troublesome-acronym I think you are so cool and your dolls are really gorgeous. I love watching their characters come together. Confession: I wrote you that anon a few months ago but was too shy to own up to it until now. :x @winonaflammery I wish I could see your collection as a whole, I am sure it is gorgeous and impressive! I, as a lot of folks do, love Kessie the most and really love how you photograph her.
And lastly I would like to mention my husband, @comeunstrung, who introduced me to this hobby when we first met and encouraged me to finally buy my first doll three years ago. It’s every doll owners wish to have their partner be an active part of this hobby, and I am living that dream. We are in this together and I think right now you technically have more dolls than me? Pfft, greedy. ;* There are way more of you than this but I’m feeling a little overwhelmed and can’t recall everyone’s screen names off the top of my head. You are all amazing and important and I’m glad to be in this boat with you.
