Like it's really unrealistic for people to think that shipping from Asia to countries like the US/Canada takes like a week with the cheapest shipping method. That rarely happens.

Nothing more painful that finding a doll you like but the seller doesn't ship overseas 😭

i’m sure some of you have noticed that i’m no longer that active in this hobby anymore. bjds were once a big part of my life, and now it’s more of a hassle than an enjoyable hobby for me. i no longer feel the excitement in getting a new doll. (still adore the heart pounding moment and the sweatiness when i saw my first bjd for the first time tho) taking photos of my dolls feel like a chore more than enjoyment.
i haven’t been buying dolls for a few months now (i was always buying dolls!) partially it’s due my lack of interest in the hobby and mostly it’s due to the lack of funds. dolls for sale have been sitting on the market forever (selling dolls help pay for new dolls, and no sales = no new dolls) i do get offer on them, but if i do sell them at those prices, i would be losing so so so much on them. i know the market hasn’t been doing so hot for a while now and i know that i wont get back what i bought/put into my dolls but at this point, i cant even get back half of what i paid for my dolls and that’s brutal since it’s how i pay for new dolls. (thanks recasts & recasts owners, stay fucking classy and keep ruining the legit second-hand market, srsly tho, fk you guys)
i am seriously thinking of quitting the hobby at this point, i do no have the time and the money to fund this hobby anymore and it doesn't bring me much joy anymore. i dont think this is a phase i can get over, tho i am still considering it.
im just gonna post all the photos i’ve taken over the few months which i deemed too crappy to post. i dont care anymore, i just want to feel motivated again OAO
hopefully i’ll be motivated enough to do a group shot of my completed dolls tomorrow! *fingers crossed*
It's fucking heart breaking seeing over 1000+ dolls that have been recasted 😢😢
I find DOA's marketplace really frustrating to use now, especially with the clothing/wigs/eyes sections where you have to sell things in separate threads, I would have over 100 threads considering all the things I have to sell and it's killer bumping them all up. Plus it's also so time consuming when browsing things for sale on the MP!
