Is it too early for a throwback? Professor Anibal teaching Jiu Jitsu in Portland shortly after moving here in 2008. This is the location where I had the privilege to meet and train with him alongside Rey Diogo, Luis Heredia, Pedro Sauer, and Relson Gracie at the Grand Opening seminar.
There's an honorable mention here as I was also teaching some Muay Thai and Eskrima at this location as well. You can even see the Thai crest of our association the interviewers shirt. He was traveling the country at the time and interviewing various gyms and legendary instructors.
