Baylie is from Australia, but she’s half Jewish, half Polynesian. Her parents ran an animal sanctuary together. She’s got albinism (because i wanna see more albino characters </3) and has a service dog named Caspian. She’s pretty artsy and does gymnastics. Her half brother’s dad taught her ukulele, which evolved into guitar. She’s extremely hyperactive and is very excitable, sometimes annoyingly so. But she’s also wayyy too feisty sometimes and has a tendency to make a big deal out of nothing. Very confrontational. She later gets moved to Hawaii to live with her half brother and his dad but I’ll save the life for the ref sheet lol—she’s 19 as of writing this.
Rusty is half Russian, half Native Siberian (Chukchi specifically). He lived in Russia until he was around 13 or so, to which him and his grandmother immigrated to Canada. He loves playing hockey (annd has been doing so since he was maybe 5 or so) and took up wood carving after he moved to Canada. He’s pretty reserved and is extremely imposing—he’s very, very tall and is pretty broad. But he’s pretty sensitive. He tries to be gentle, but he’s pretty clumsy at times. He used to hate a lot of animals until she moved in with him and brought her plethora of pets lmao. His English isn’t the greatest, but he’s learning. He’s dating Baylie. He’s 19 as well.
Brodie is Irish—he’s the oldest of 10 siblings. His parents run a bakery and he acts as a delivery boy (even though he sometimes sneaks some food for himself when his parents send him on a delivery mission). Since he’s the oldest, he’s expected to take on the business at some point. He loves the bakery though. He has a horse named Enbarr that he uses as transportation. He’s pretty smart mouthed and snarky, but he’s nice. He knows how to charm people into giving him extra tips (and food lmao). He’s 20.
Kai is Baylie’s half brother. He shares a mother with Baylie. So he’s half Polynesian, half Samoan. He lives in Hawaii with his dad Mako, who’s a schoolteacher/tour guide and also performs fire dances and such (still researching some of this). Kai wants to be a doctor (a pediatrician), but he currently works at a beach as a lifeguard while commuting back and forth to college. He’s extremely patient, gentle and laid back. He’s very good with kids. He can be pretty aloof at times and is extremely pushy when it comes to taking care of those he loves. He’s a mother hen of sorts. He surfs too! He’s 23.
Charity lives in Louisiana with her dad who owns a jewelry store and her mom, who’s a seamstress. Her dad’s French (from France) and her mom’s from the states (and is of Polish decent). Her family is extremely well off, but as her name implies, she’s not a bitch about it or anything. I kinda based her off Charlotte LeBouff from Princess and the Frog lol—she can be a ditz and doesn’t really realize just HOW well off her family is, but she’s super loyal and will always put her friends and family first. She’s an only child. She also does equestrian events! She wants to go to beauty school—that’s her dream. She’s 18 (soon to be 19). She was actually supposed to be an outsiders OC but i’ve had to reconstruct her life a bit so she’s still In The Works.
Domingo Bustamante is Argentinian. He paints murals around town and gets paid pretty good money for it. He’s a newer OC so he doesn’t have too much lore yet. His mom’s a schoolteacher and his dad’s a construction worker. He started painting as a sort of side hustle to help him through art school, but he ended up sticking with it purely because he loves it so much. He’s also deaf. He’s a pretty quiet person—he tends to get so invested in his work that he completely forgets and ignores everything around him, even himself, until it’s too late. But he’s a very sweet guy when you get to know him. He’s 18.
Helge and Bjorn are actually characters that I made for an English project and just forgot about lmao. But Helge is a Danish hunter who’s not great at what he does. He doesn’t like hunting either—he’s a pretty angry person, but he cares for the lives of others—including animals—a lot more than he’d like to admit. His dad’s a Viking, and he tried to get Helge in on it too, but he ran away afterwards because he couldn’t handle it. The only pillage he partook in was when he was 18. He’s also gay and refuses to acknowledge it. He’s a very angry person and comes off as cold and shallow, but he cares way more than he’d shows or wants to admit. He’s dating Bjorn. He’s 20.
Bjorn is an Icelandic hunter who’s moves around with his dad a lot. He used to help run his dad’s ice cutting and fishing business, but he and his dad fled after their village was ransacked and invaded by Vikings (coincidentally Helge’s only raid was the one on Bjorn’s town, though he didn’t know that upon meeting Helge. His mother and two younger sisters were also killed in this raid, though it was an accident. Bjorn is a teddy bear. That’s the best way to put it. He’s a bigger guy, but he’s an utter teddy bear. As his name implies. He’s dating Helge (though their relationship fractures completely after he finds out that Helge’s family killed his mother and siblings. He’s 22. Their lore isn’t the best because I don’t think about them much butttt I plan on expanding and tweaking their lore a bit.
Tori is from Australia as well, and was Baylie’s best friend and girlfriend before Baylie got moved to Hawaii. Her father is Fijian and her mother is of Ghanaian descent. She has vitiligo too. Tori’s pretty nerdy—she gets REALLY into certain medias and loves talking about them and even cosplays sometimes. She’s not as excitable as Baylie but she’s pretty close. She can be pretty emotional at times, but she used to be the one reigning Baylie in when they were dating since Baylie could be a lot to handle sometimes. Her and Baylie still keep in touch, but they broke up because of the long distance. They do make plans on meeting again whenever they can both afford it. She’s 19 as well.
