Thank you so much for reviewing the Iron Fist episodes. I know the show had problems but finding people who point out the good are few and far between. I RPG a Danny in an online comm and some of your points have helped me get into his character more.

    You’re welcome, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the blog! I love the show as an Iron Fist fan and find it fascinating as a writer, and I’m really happy that other people are finding the analysis interesting/useful too.

We aren’t under notice yet, no.  But this just highlights a real concern I was sharing with my husband earlier: If we do get an evac notice or order, we’re northwest of Portland, which is the direction the fire is spreading.  If we get that notice, Portland and Vancouver will have already got the notice as well, and we have no idea where the hell we’re supposed to go.  Olympia?  Seattle?  The coast?

I’m just glad the local news is being a bunch of sarcastic brats about it and making volcano jokes, because I don’t think I’d be able to cope if it were 100% doom and gloom.

I just wanted to say thank you for "Ahsoka". I just finished it and it was amazing! Likely the best Star Wars book I've read in some time. Thank you so much for doing right with Ahsoka Tano. =)

Oh that stinks about the problematic stuff... sigh why do so many tv shows feel the need to treat women that way?

And I feel like I’ll be able to stomach him more if I am not seeing every event through his eyes but I’ll have to watch the show to find out I guess
