I've been working at these plushies since February!!! for my dear friend @joojdraws , they have been really patient while I've been learning patterns & getting specific fabrics to make things perfect the first try. I really enjoy ocs (especially Mousey & their sona here) & their love for their faves, so this was a treat to do ❤️💚

A 22 year old hetero yayyy just what Baths needed… 💀

I based Layla off of the song Layla by Eric Clapton released in the year of our lord 1970 ✌️ It’s about a woman who’s husband (in this case a boyfriend) let her down and broke her pride, she runs away from it and find someone to confide in. That person falls for her and she turns his life upside down.

* She’s originally from the east coast but after a relationship went sour she wanted to leave. As you do in the 70s she hitchhiked until she ran out of cash, when this happened she had ended up in the small rural town of Baths. She’s been living there for the past 2 years

* Originally applied to work at (Harvey’s?) Hardware store. She doesn’t know jack shit about tools n stuff so she didn’t get the job. Did meet a new friend there tho Mo ( @clownies-posties ), Layla often bugs her at work, stressing her out by playin with the chainsaws. One time while loitering around the store during one of Mo’s shifts is when Layla saw Rarold for the first time, n well uh 👀 it was all down hill from there.

* Did end up getting a job at Chopo’s as a waitress she’s a lil clumsy but that’s kinda on brand for Chopo’s… The other waitresses like her because she’s always uh *cough* happy to serve a certain “trouble” customer Rarold.

* Layla can often be found wearing her signature platform heels, she’s a good 5’6” without em but they make her about 6’0” something about it makes her feel more “powerful”
