What was your first BL and then what was your second?
How confused did they make you and around what aspects of the genre?
I gotta ask, because the comments and chats on this post were so much fun.

Before you ask I genuinely can’t remember but I am pretty sure my first ones were:
And I think it was that order. Until We Meet Again (still my favorite Thai BL) and Love Sick (the subs were SO HARD to find, do you remember? and so bad until Netflix aired it) and Make it Right and 2 Moons came along sometime after that and also I discovered the HIStory franchise around that time (they were all on YT back in those days).
Crossing the Line was my first Taiwanese BL.
Just Friends? was my first KBL (yeah that set up the WRONG expectations).
Gameboys my first Pinoy.
Addicted my first from China.
And I think You Are Ma Boy my first from Vietnam (could be wrong on that one tho).
Japan I actually watched a bootlegged copy of Takumi (yeah, the first one, shudder) way way WAY back but I didn’t know anything about it or that there would be/were more, so I just returned to reading yaoi and forgot about it. It was probubly Cherry Magic that got me paying attention to JBL again. (I’m so sorry Japan, I didn’t mean to neglect you for so long.)
