I really did not expect to like Boys in Love as much as I am. It's extremely low-conflict slice-of-life fare, and that's generally my bread and butter and jam, but I was (understandably, I think) very wary of a mostly untested cast with Mick Metas as a lead (sorry Opas-iamkajorn men, but you're not uh, the most expressive men in the world and while that's working in the Shane role as it was written, your general inability to act led me to believe you couldn't pull it off), with an as yet unseen older ship (sorry to those men, but I've never really loved Papang or Pod before this) and a high school setting? Let's just say that I don't think the MSP lightning will ever, ever strike again.

And to be clear, it's not. Boys in Love isn't going to be a fave, and I'm not going to get a Boys in Love tattoo (MSP tat coming up in a matter of mere weeks). But I am genuinely looking forward to watching the show each week, and ya can't really say that about every GMMTV show, you know?

Yep, it’s official, I’m going to add Joker’s happy/sad face tattoo to my own collection of QL tattoos. Won’t be on my wrist, no space there, want it smaller at the base on the back of my left thumb.

Going to save up for it, thankfully because it’ll be pretty small, it won’t be much. Unless I can get my sister to come into town over the holidays and bring her tattoo gear with her and do it for me 🤔🤔🤔 Actually, that’s one hell of an idea.
