If Luka doesn't scream or growl in his next song (if we get one) I'm gonna be (lightly) mad, like ... it just makes sense?? He's been raised and trained to be this elegant and beautifully tragic idol, and his love was the opposite. I want him to take that chance that hyuna gave him to live on his own, I don't want the next song to be some kind of elegant and graceful symphony I was him to yell and growl and cry because he's lost the one thing that kept him together. We know his VA is capable of this, so let me hear it.
Sacred Light cover art really did have Luka with his burn scars under operation, just like i feared. Also using the surgery light to eclipse his face was definitely a choice.
So now you can join me as I scream about the fact that Luka's burn scars were so bad that it took Heperu and peak of seigyen technology 7 years, 7 WHOLE YEARS to fix him or atleast that face alone and they were trying to use tissue implants for atleast 4 years.
This song is so upbeat, like if you tune out the words it's almost a love song esque, a love song which is a plea for help in a way.

Like inferred, Luka is cowardly man. He's afraid of losing because of all Heperu has done to him and hence, the strategy exists of breaking others down mentally to give himself an edge.
Part of this was also stopping Luka's heart and in his interview, he talked about how important it was to keep your heartbeat level yet when he sees Hyuna, his microphone is red and you can hear that his heartbeat is so loud. He regresses to a more childlike innocent part of him that he (or rather Heperu) can't erase.
The eyes colliding is definitely a reference to the "this is my revenge" panel in the comics before Hyuna dies and I'm not listening otherwise.

This is just speculative but I feel like the start is about how famous Luka is and guarded Heperu keeps him to the point that most information on his character sheet is unknown.
That's why even if Hyuna and Luka are in the same place like pre-ALNST Season 49, they still can't do much but only steal glances. As we know Hyuna didn’t push away Luka while they were in the garden, even after Hyunwoo's death.
The last part I think is meant to both show how little time they have together but also Hyuna disappearing after her stage blew up aka joining the rebels and her eventual death ofc.

Luka doesn't understand love, so he tries to learn from Hyuna by taking a piece of her world and her love, trying to spend as much time as he can with her.
Also didn't catch this until I wrote down the lyrics but "Take my hand" is Hyuna's last sub song. That's definitely intentional.

Hyuna definitely understands how their environment of being human pets under seigyens, she has always been the one give him the most grace despite the kind of person he is. And, Luka holds onto the small moments when they interact, he holds on to the posters he sees of her in the absence of her physically.
Side tangent, imo Hyuna's acceptance and understanding of why Luka is the way he is, hinders her ability to grieve her brother properly and come to terms with it. She can't blame Luka because he didn't know any better but she can’t not help but feel betrayed that he is the reason her brother is no more.
Yet, she still can't stop loving him or push him away, which adds to her guilt. She clings onto him even though she shouldn't because like Luka only has her, after Hyunwoo's death, she only has him now, even her guardian (Phan) doesn't care enough to remember her.

After Hyuna joins the rebellion, Luka believes that she is just avoiding the truth and one day, she will have to open her eyes and accept her place as a pet just like Luka has already. He thinks the only way to keep her safe is with him, the rebels are never going to win against seigyens. She is aimless in the way she can't accept this "truth".

Only this fall will cradle me as a reference to that one "your existence is my cradle" art. Again, "take my hand" reference. Hyuna's really every good thing in Luka's life. She's his fire, his sun, his light, his cradle, his saviour, the ruler of his heart and everything.
