Okay but when Blinky is telling Arrrgh that he knows something is wrong, and then he's like, "It's my human form, isn't it? You've been distant lately!" and "I'm still the same Blinky!" And he tries to get Arrrgh to go on a roadtrip but Arrrgh pushes away because of his emotional problems and JUST. THEY ARE MARRIED.
YES I ACTUALLY LOVE THAT PART. Definitely cemented the ‘mates’ thing for me. They’re just too PERFECT!
what’s your favorite headcanon of blarrrghy?
-The whole enemies to friends to lovers trope
-Blinky and Aaarrrgghh adopted Jim, Claire and Toby as their father figures
-That scene with the whole “true loves first kiss” and Blinky looks at Toby = Blinky has kissed someone he loves before and that is Aaarrrgghh!
-They like to snuggle a lot
-And hugs! Lots and lots of hugs!
-Aaarrrgghh flirts with Blinky in trollish in front of Jim, Toby and Claire and make Blinky flustered
-Blinky reading to Aaarrrgghh!
-Aaaarrrgghh reminding Blinky to get sleep when Blinky is staying up late. Sometimes to the point Aaarrrgghh takes Blinky’s book away and carries him to bed
That’s all I can think of right now!
✒ Blinky can't sleep properly without Aarrrgh close by under normal circumstances. The scent of his fur and musk are a comfort more so than any bed pelt ever could be. As for Aarrrgh, while it's not as easy to tell, he has a hard time sleeping without the weight of Blinky at his side. it's become a normal for him he can't do without.
