#black altars

one of my headcanons/theories:

Hatchetfield resembles Drowsy Town - the Waylons could have built the landmarks to reflect the layout of Drowsy Town, and each black altar aligns to a location in the Black that in the centre of an area a Lord in Black might rule over.

The Starlight Theatre would obviously be the centre of Pokey’s domain; Wiggly’s is the mill/Lakeside Mall; Tinky’s is the gazette/CCRP; but i’m not sure which would be Blinky’s and Nibbly’s out of Waylon Hall and Hatchetfield High tho

it feels like it would be an interesting concept to play with plot-wise and it helps me imagine the Sniggles and the LiB and how the Sniggle society sort of functions.

i could probably go into more detail but i am tired and it is getting late lol

the starlight theatre being a black altar makes me think it’s no coincidence pokey’s meteor crashed there in tgwdlm

sure, you could say he aimed it at the theatre or whatever

but i’m thinking it’s more like he was summoned

so each of the five black altars is implied to be connected to a different lord in black, right? the first three are pretty obvious, thanks to tgwdlm, black friday, and forever & always/time bastard (starlight theater - pokey, lakeside mall - wiggly, ccrp - tinky)

I believe waylon hall is nibbly's and hatchetfield high is blinky's

the waylons founded the cult of the starry children, and as we see in honey queen, roman murray's immitation cult sacrifices to nibbly, a practice that could have been copied from the original cult (also, on the off chance that a theory of mine is true, that in the nightmare time 2 timeline, sheila and sherman live there instead of it being abandoned, the whole feeding on others fits the vibe)

as for hatchetfield high and blinky... idk man it feels right. getting to watch hormonal teenagers do crazy shit? gotta be entertaining
