These bee-eaters are found in the western regions of central Africa. Their diet is made up of flying insects, which they catch in the air. These include honeybees, wasps, ants, and butterflies. Pairs build their nests in burrows in sandy cliffs.

I was bored one day and decided to paint some manner of tropical bird. I ended up using this photo as a reference for the painting. It's a little bit messy...the way I ordered my layers of paint didn't work out so well and I had to do a lot of re-painting. The scan also isn't fantastic, but hey, you get the general idea at least.xD
