Back by the popular demand of two people... it’s the TBCS headcanons hour, Black Chapel Seven edition
At each place of residence there is The Shirt. Just in case someone has to stay longer than intended, or if their own shirt gets stained or damaged (ie the many times these fools have been shot). It is an XL in an attempt at one size fits all. None of them are an XL. The Shirt is a hated concept but one frequently utilized by necessity
Speaking of living situations, they split off into groups after the whole Savior debacle. Adelaide, Clementine, and Jessamine back to the City, Everett and Savior to the fort, Judas and Wyatt back to Pine Gulch with Wambli, and Eli staying in Black Chapel
Maggie, meanwhile, spends the rest of her teenage years in the CoM, but isn’t able to lose the investigative streak. After a few years she decides to hit the open road as a private detective. Eventually she settles in Black Chapel and takes over as Sheriff when Eli retires
This is lowkey canon but casual overreaction is completely commonplace but not taken lightly
Adelaide: Who ate all the jerky?
Eli: Uhhh
Adelaide: Cool, you’re top of the kill list now
Silver, previous top of the kill list: Oh hell yeah
Everett makes a ridiculous amount of leg puns and everyone is very tempted to cut the other one off in retaliation, but alas, that would only make it worse
“That would cost me an arm and a leg, and I can only afford one of those!” Cue six simultaneous groans
Addie, Clem, and Jessa eventually adopt a child and By God that is the most spoiled child in the west. Not by their moms, but by their crazy amount of aunts and uncles
Yeah uh @dontdropthejam made a whole list (illustrated!) of all the dogs that Judas and Wyatt have and that’s not even headcanon at this point, it’s happening and there’s nothing you can do to stop it
Each of them visit Bear’s mountain once a year. Not at the same time, and they don’t talk about it, but they all know they’re doing it by the tokens they leave at his grave
Conversations move pretty fast when you have 7+ opinionated people in a room. This is often a less than good thing
Eli: (leaves the room for five minutes and returns)
Maggie: Answer the question, are you or are you not lumbersexual
Eli: This conversation was about the best thing to name your horse. What the fuck happened
Once Judas brought up the concept of a swear jar and everbody lost their damn minds
There’s a running bet on who can argue with Adelaide for the longest. Eli holds the current longest run of three days when they were debating trade routes. Wyatt tried to hard to break ten minutes but she just. Loves him so much. Everett tries to argue that he won on account of her hating him for five years but no one accepts this
Some BONUSES because I love the other characters too, okay??
The Arcadia has a night set aside for Barry to play piano. He is not good. Guys, he is so, so bad. All his friends show up to support him anyway because it’s just the right thing to do
Becca had an older brother who left the CoM when he came of age. They were really close, but not close enough for her to leave. They still keep in touch via letters though, which requires Jessa to ride to the next town to find a courier. Jessa doesn’t really mind, honestly, because that’s the town that has the really good sasparilla hard candy she loves
Jessa, seriously, this sasparilla candy thing is getting out of hand. We need to talk
Wambli has a habit of peacing out into the wilderness for a few days without warning. It’s nothing shady and he’s totally fine, he just likes the seclusion, but Judas always worries and follows him around for a few days after. He already misses his friends enough
