Next time you’re describing a black women try using words like assertive, articulate, confident, and ambitious when talking about work ethic. Black women are more than finger snapping and neck rolls, they are shy, silly, awkward, a wallflower, independent, thoughtful, opinionated, particular, and playful.” ✊🏿👑

I'm now getting harassed by my nephews,nieces, godsons and goddaughters about oils, hair and skin routines(yes I'm the aunt). It's annoying af and I'm loving it.

Colonialism is a mutha……I love the African diaspora and I don’t let differences in culture or language separate me from my brothers and sisters including but not limited to: Haitians, Dominicans, Puerto Rican’s, Jamaicans, Bahamians , the rest of the Caribbean, my peoples in Central and South America, Europe and the motherland. Blackness is beautiful and diverse.
