The Black Equation Series : Assassins and Fantasy (and food) fusion!
Oh, a BIG HELLO there good fella! You found me!
Ain’t that a bit hard, knowing how hermit I can get, hiding from stalkers like you?
*wink, wink*
Here’s a little welcome speech from me!
. . . but meh.
Who cares about the author when you’ve come for the B O O K S?
Btw, I was kidding about the food part. BE is a fiction novel, not a cook book :’) Though, our little heroine do love to cook. And eat.
Nuff said.
So, what’s the Black Equation series?
It’s a four novel-long story (the 4th one still ongoing) written by natsuriayuko in this cozy, homey writing platform called Wattpad. (Stop pretending that you don’t know what Wattpad is!)
It involves:
- ACTION (fight scenes, yey!)
- FANTASY (a bit every now and then ‘coz they’ve got POWERS!)
- ROMANCE (hah! can you even find it somewhere?)
- and lots of philosophical shit (oops, my bad!)
The story all started with this teenage Hollywood pop idol called Faye Summers.
She’s really popular but then --
This feisty brunette ran away to be normal.
Only to meet an assassin.
Bad luck?
REALLY sh*tty LUCK, I tell you.
And know what?
Faye likes to butt into other people’s business.
Living a normal life seems impossible for our cheeky little Faye.
Well, you’ll be when you get yourself into a mess much more than you’re prepared to handle.
But then, of course, she won’t be dealing with the problems alone.
Here comes The GANG, who are -- surprise, surprise -- a bunch of loony teenage (and one young-at-heart) assassins with their own skeletons in their own damn closets.
This blonde boy is one of ‘em.
Say ‘HI’?
Sorry. He’s kinda shy.
Anyhoo, below is a short intro to each of the stories. If you’re interested, I’ve linked them to the novels themselves.
Read on.
Don’t worry, this one lazy bum author won’t spoil you. . . massively.
1. Black Equation - The Forgotten Ones
It was a life she never dreamed, a love she never expected, and a tragedy she never knew existed.
Faye Summers is sassy and childish, not to mention extremely self-centered. Insanely talented at seventeen, she shone brighter than her other star counterparts, leading a life that glittered like gold. When sooner she realized that fame was not her thing, she quickly took off from the stage dragging with her the ever calm Jared Hudson, her childhood friend and enemy.
She thought everything was going smoothly, but boy was she ever wrong. On one sick perversion of Fate, her dream became a nightmare. All because of a strange flame.
Her life turns upside-down when she became the target of the owner of those flames, the assassin under the codename: 06.
Now, her life would be altered... forever.
2. Black Equation - The Deceived Ones
"Things will never be the same again."
Gneiss Underwood never thought that he could have a shot of a normal life.
Growing up in an environment where everything defied sanity, guns and loneliness were his normal companions, if not danger and Death himself. An UnGifted teenager whose soul had been sold to the devil, he rejected the life that the world had offered to pursue the shadows of his past.
But when he discovered that love did exist, no matter how unlikely it was, and he became a victim to that very emotion, it was too late for him.
Why?
Because he is 01. He is an assassin. And he won't let her die.
3. Black Equation - The Gifted Ones
"When Death comes for you, what will you do?"
Timid and awkward Abcidee Reeds discovers that there is more to her than a woman who looks like the missing singer Faye Summers. Ivan Ilyinsky, an infamous criminal, seeks her out and plunges her back to the world that was part of her forgotten past. To add to the mayhem, an assassin comes to end her life – before she poses a threat to the Light. However, when Death comes her way, it isn’t in the way she imagined it to be.
Forced to face the horrors of being Gifted, Abcidee must once again learn how to deal with danger and grief, and come back to the arms of those she loves the most. This time, will she be able to withstand it all… or will she make the same painful mistakes, the same ones that nearly cost her heart?
4. Black Equation - The Hunted Ones
A girl who sees too much, feels too much, and knows too much.
Ophee Creed can see the strings that connect people. Her power allows her access to any person's lifetime worth of interactions. This includes one's deepest, darkest secrets. Violation of privacy? More like the ultimate Lie Detector.
She is an anomaly even among the Gifted, a girl who willingly walks the path to destruction . . . because in order to protect her loved ones, she has to continue using a power so dangerous that it will eventually kill her. Both body and soul.
I didn’t spoil you, right?
I kept my promise.
Oh, by the way, the Book 1, BE - TFO, has a Paperback copy.
You should get one to see a smoother, more compact version of the story.
I’ve published two books so far under Pop Fiction of Summit Media Phils.
But that’s a talk for another day.
To wrap it up, here’s one of my fave quotes.
Sounds sad?
I’m a sadistic writer. Potatoes vouch for me.
ENJOY READING!
