Summer à la Thom Browne.

When Thom Browne got his breakthrough in the mid-noughties I have to admit that I was a little intrigued. His shows were ridiculous but at the same time really clever. It was also interesting to see someone try to update a classical American aesthetic and save it from all brands that tried to sell prep by attaching a large crest on basically anything. I bought a few things from Thom Browne's own brand and also from Brooks Brother's Black Fleece line that Browne designed. But I fell out of love pretty quickly. His cuts don't really look good on anyone who's not skinny and the shortness of, well everything, got tired fast. When I got this seersucker jacket recently I really liked the overall quality and the fairly heavy fabric (personally I don't think that seersucker should be too light). The jacket is not that short either which was good news, but the high button stance annoy me more than anything else. Which is a pity really because there are a lot of things with Thom Browne's style that I find very attractive.

The jacket comes from BB Black Fleece, shirt and pants are Thom Browne, ps is from Vanda and the shoes are Twins.

Week 4/52: January 24th - January 30th 2022 | 忙着上班

Another full week of work. I barely have time to breathe, let alone sleep. I legit slept 14 hours on my day off after being severely sleep deprived for days working in Langley. The shit I have to do sometimes e.g. waking up at 6am to go to work 50 cities away lol... When I’m not working, I am usually just catching up on sleep. The small amount of time spent awake and not working, I just keep distracting myself with dramas (finished 我在他乡挺好的 and it made me cry so much lol it’s just too REAL). I can barely call this a hobby because to me it’s just a distraction. I don’t have the energy or mood to do my real hobbies right now. Maybe later or maybe never. Thank you Paddy for the bubble tea (long time no Coco green tea yakult yyds tbh)! The only upside to my life these days is having my supervisors taking turns buying me bbt at work LOL. Hooray \o/

Shooting mobile casuals make me kinda happy tbh.

Week 17.8/52: April 25th - May 1st 2022 | TWU Convocation 🎓

I don’t know why I forgot to bring my camera on this day because I have been documenting all the convocations I go to since forever 😭 the venue was actually really nice but I only have snapchat videos of it lmao tragic. My coworker randomly took these photos while we were trying to white balance the onstage photos (idk why) ??? hahaha I am just a walking grey card.

Week 2.5/52: January 10th - January 16th 2022 | Dinner with 蜡笔小新 🥂

We have been trying to meet up and eat here since October LOL but it kept getting pushed back because Betty & Wing went to Europe (in Oct), and then I went to Calgary (in Nov), and then Shelly went to Toronto/Iceland (in Dec)..... DJHJKSFHKJFS so it got postponed 3 times LMAO but we finally made it. Ate at Jess’ Restaurant finally and it was yum. We got Hamachi 2 Ways & Crispy Sweet Bread for appetizers; Smoked Honey Duck Breast, Mushroom Risotto, Seared Hokkaido Scallops, and USDA Prime Striploin for main; and Tiramisu & Earl Grey Mousse for dessert. Very yum and quite a fancy meal lol. I really loved their desserts (apparently it’s 2 Michelin Stars LOL no wonder) and their mushroom risotto! The steak and appetizers were all very yum as well. Also their washroom had Jo Malone handsoap and hand cream.... goals..... lol. It’s too fancy LMAOOOOO my derp cheap ass can’t handle this but a nice time to catch up with friends regardless. Restaurant wanted to kick us out after 2 hours but we wanted to talk more so we went to Blackballs for dessert LMAO.

Week 17/52: April 26th - May 2nd 2021 | Phone Pics :/

Too lazy to bring my camera out with me these days. To be honest this week was so tiring and depressing. I held onto life because I run 徐子未 updates but if it weren’t for that I would be dead. Bought some Coco and T&T sushi on Sunday to eat. I tried their dragonfruit yogurt drink and it was okay I guess. It looks super pretty though! And they use real dragonfruits, bwahahaha.

Day 312/365: November 8th 2018 | La Fontaine Park & Bagels

Gaby had an interview in the morning so I just stayed in bed while she performed responsible grown-up duties LOL. When she came back, I had just finished showering and was in the process of putting on my makeup XD ... anyway, I finished getting ready, ate breakfast, and we headed over to La Fontaine Park to look at the beautiful yellow leaves :') so pretty~ there were so many doggos playing in the park and I wanted to pet all of them ;_; !!!!! DOGGOS!!!!! After taking tonnes of photos, we headed over to St.Viateur Bagel Café! I got their All Dressed bagel with cream cheese and Gaby got their sesame bagel. Damn so GOOOOOD *^* HOW CAN BAGELS BE SO DELICIOUS LOL!!????

We were originally going to eat fried chicken after bagels but I became too full so we just went home HAHAHA RIP..... so for dinner we ate Gaby's cooking hehe. :3 Thank you love!
