David’s Pov
“Honey, can you please go and talk to Marcel about the treaty in my stead? My schedule’s too tight today.” Aaliyah asked
“Yea I was headed for a walk into town anyway.”
“Great, I'll see you at dinner. Love you.”
“Love you too beautiful.”
On my way to meet up with Marcel in the town square something felt familiar but I couldn't pinpoint it.
“Excuse me, do you know this town well?” I heard a woman ask. But that voice….. it couldn’t be. She’s not supposed to be here.
I walked towards the voice to see her back facing towards me. “Kimberly?” I say aloud. She turned around with a stunned look. “Still beautiful after all these years.”
“What are you doing in Moon valley?”
“I don’t see how that’s your business, but it’s nice to see you again David.” Kimberly smiled.
“I wish I could say the same if we weren’t under different circumstances.”
“Oh you mean when you cheated on your wife and I got pregnant? Or do you mean when she sent me and your first born daughter to serenity without a blink of an eye.”
“Look I know things got a little crazy but….. Wait, did you say daughter?” I asked , shocked.
“Yea her name is Piper, sweet girl.” Kimberly responded with a smile that quickly faded “ look I gotta go, I have somewhere to be.” then quickly walked away.
“What the hell was that?” I watched her for a few more seconds before I began walking towards the packhouse. Marcel was in front of the door talking to Jason.
“Just the two people I needed to see.”
“Wish I could say the same. Where's Aaliyah?”
“She had a more important meeting that required her attention today so you're stuck with me.”
“Tell Aaliyah we can hold this another day when she’s present.”
“Why when I'm right here?” I questioned
“Because I don’t like you nor do I respect you.” Marcel said matter of factly
I sighed “listen this is business and I don’t need to be your friend. My wife wanted this done today and I want to respect her wishes so let's get to business and save the bullshit for after.”
Marcel smirked “You're bold as hell. And if you weren't Davina's dad you would have been dead already. I will respect Aaliyah’s wishes today I guess.” Marcel said as he walked inside towards his office.
I didn’t say anything back. I just followed him to his office before he changed his mind again. My daughters mate or not I’ve never met a more disrespectful creature.
Davina’s pov
I sat at home on my couch watching tv. When I felt that familiar energy again and it was in Moon valley. I came to the conclusion that the energy was coming from a witch or warlock. I was good at detection and tracking magical sources. I got up and put on my shoes immediately walking out of the house to find out who it was coming from.
I mindlinked marcel. “ I can feel that energy again somewhere in Moon Valley. I’m gonna look for it.”
“Be careful, I'm in a meeting. I'll check in with you in 20.” He replied before cutting the link.
Walking into the town square I tried to find the energy source. I knew it was here and I could feel it coming closer.
“Davina?” I heard a voice call. I looked to my right and I saw a girl walking towards me.
“Yes, do I know you?” That's when I felt the same source of energy I’ve been looking for.
“It’s me, Allison Fox, your old classmate slash bestie before you met Kat?”
I froze. I thought I wouldn’t ever see this person again after she disappeared. “Ali? Oh my god where have you been all this time, it's been years.”
“In the flesh hahah, I have been getting stronger. I joined a new coven that fits my values.” Ali replied
“You're most definitely stronger because the energy you were giving off was concerning, but what brings you to Moon valley?”
“Oh nothing, just a little unfinished business I wanted to take care of.” ALi said with a smile.
“What kind of business? Visiting your mom after all these years? You know how hurt she was after you left?”
“Oh please, my mother is the least of my concerns.” Ali replied, rolling her eyes before looking at me with a smile lightly tapping me on my shoulder. “Let's go for a walk, we have a lot to catch up on.” walking ahead of me I automatically felt my legs start to follow behind her.
“What the fuck is this I can’t speak nor can I control my body.” I kept trying to use my voice but nothing came out.
“Marcel!” I called out to him, completely freaking out, but he couldn’t hear me.”
“Cool spell huh, I thought you would like it. Ali smiled as she got in the car. ”C’mon hun let’s go, I don't have all day. My body betrayed me again as I got in the car and drove off.”
“You know Davina you really don't deserve everything that you have.” Ali said as the car car came to a sudden stop I noticed we were going into the woods. We walked for at least 10 minutes before we stopped next to this clearing. I looked into Ali’s eyes not knowing what was gonna happen next.
“Don’t worry girl, I'm not gonna kill you. I wanted to but that's the job of someone you’ll be meeting sooner than you think. But for now she just wants you to sleep and bleed out a little.” Ali stepped forward drawing a blade.
I tried to run but my legs wouldn't move. “Why is she doing this! Move dammit!” It was too late as I felt the blade go into my stomach twice. I fell to the ground and was dragged to a nearby bush as if she was hiding my body.
“It’s ok Davina, just close your eyes. You’ll wake up later if you're found but if not then you might be out of luck.” Alison said as ran her fingers through my hair before getting up and leaving me alone in the woods, possibly dying. I attempted to call out to her but my eyes got heavier the farther she got and before I knew it everything went dark.
“I’m coming. She replied walking into the living room.. “How do I look?” she asked.
“You look absolutely beautiful.” I replied holding out my hand. “ Ready to go?”
“Yup.” she said excitedly, taking my hand walking out of the house to his red Lexus. We sat in a comfortable silence listening to music on the way to the pack house where we were throwing a welcoming party for the new Etlies. My hand hovered over Davina’s exposed thigh.
“Stop teasing Marcel.” she warned.
“I don't know what you're talking about.” I smirked glancing over at her for a second.
“Wow it’s gorgeous.” Davina said once we stepped inside the decorated ballroom.
“Not as gorgeous as you.” I smiled pulling her closer to me. She smiled placing a kiss on my cheek.
“Stop it.” she giggled.
“What? I Can’t show my woman some love? C’mon we have to meet the new Elites.” I wrapped her hand in mine bringing her along as I started to mingle.
“I’ll be back. I'm going to use the bathroom.” Davina told me
“Ok. I’ll be with Jason.” As I was catching up with Jason about something(lol please change that idk what they do) Gabriella walked over to us in the ugliest dress I’ve ever seen .
“Hey Marcel.” she winked before finishing off her drink. She closed the space between us wrapping her arms around my neck..
“I see you came alone.”
“I'm not alone. I'm here with my mate so get off me.”
“Oh? Since when were you mated? We were together not too long ago.” she said a little too loudly. I pulled her closer and whispered.
“ENOUGH! You're taking this too far.” I growled
“That's not what you said last time. You know when I was screaming your name.” she said even louder causing people to turn towards us.
“What the hell is this?!” Davina yelled staring at us.
“Wait I can ex-”
“No no no, This bitch just said she slept with you“ Davina’s eyes were filled with anger.
“Who are you callin a bitch?” Gabriella provoked stepping closer to Davina.
“You Bitch! Do I need to say it louder?” Davina raised her hand pointing at Gabriella so I stepped in front of her.
“Davina calm down.” I grabbed her face forcing her to look at me.
“What do you mean calm down?Marcel don’t play with me cause I swear” She said with her brown eyes almost black still filled with angier.
“Let her at me. I'm not afraid of a little girl.” Gabriella challenged.
“Davina!” Aaliyah yelled. I looked up and all eyes were on us. Davina’s parents were walking over to us.
“Marcel I don't think your relationship with my daughter is appropriate at all. Has she been with you this whole time? David asked. Aaliyah took Davina from me.
“Davina you know you're not supposed to use your powers outside the coven. What has gotten into you these days?”
“Excuse me when did any magic leave these hands?” I asked my mom
“Wait I thought you told your parents you moved in with me.” I questioned standing there confused.
“No she just disappeared.” Aaliyah replies.
“ I didn’t disappear, I moved in with Marcel.” Davina corrected Aaliyah
“Moved in?” David repeated hurt. Davina’s eyes were no longer filled with anger, they were now filled with regret.
“Davina what’s going on?” I asked turning to look at her.
“We need to talk.” she grabbed my hand taking me outside. I mindlinked Jason to tell him to keep the party going. We walked away leaving the party behind us.
“What the fuck! You said You told them.”
“No, the real question is why you're still sleeping with your ex?” she snapped.
“I haven’t been with that girl you know that. But fuck that I wanna know why you lied to me. Aaliyah isn’t gonna wanna build an alliance with me because you can’t tell the truth.”
“Is that all you're concerned about? It’s like you care more about the stupid alliance than our relationship” she fumed with anger.
“You know that's not true. I'm trying to get rid of all the hate between our people but you're making it worse.”
“Why is all this my fault? I just didn't tell them I was moving in so it’s not that serious. You always talk about the fucking alliance it’s been a year hurry up. And now you're sleeping with your damn ex behind my back? ”
“You know what I’m not about to entertain yo bullshit right now. I need to cool off. I'll see you at home.” I turned on my heels and started to walk away when she called me.
“Marcel! We came together. Running away won't solve anything.”
“I’m not running away. I just need to cool off right now ” Trying to control my growing anger
“Ok well give me the car keys cause i’m not walking home.” she held out her hand.
I gave a small laugh “That’s cute baby but you're not driving my car.” I said point blankly
She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath “Marcel are you really….. Hmmmmm. You know what... it’s fine.” she replied “Unbelievable.” as she stormed off walking back into the pack house
“Fuck!” I yelled. I was so Pissed off I didn’t even take the time to undress as I began to shift. It was only a second before I was in werewolf form running towards the woods.2 hours after trying to clear my head I managed to calm down to a certain extent.
Ring!
My phone went off. I knew it was Davina. She's been blowing me up for 30 minutes. I decided to stop ignoring her so I picked up.
“Come home right now!” Davina demanded
“Nah I was gonna stay at the office tonight.” I said sarcastically.” I’m pulling in the driveway right now.” I told her and she hung up the phone.
I walked through the door to find a knife floating in my face. I simply grabbed it and walked into the living room where Davina was waiting sitting on the couch.
I lifted my right hand Looking at her. “ A knife?”
“What’s the point of having a phone if you don't answer.” She asked
“I did answer.”
“That doesn’t include the calls before that. Are you even concerned about how I got home?”
“Jason told me he dropped you off.”
“So you answered Jason's phone call but ignored mine ok.” I heard her voice crack a bit but I ignored it.
“No, I ignored you. Werewolves have a different way of communicating.” I clarified
“Well are you ready to finish talking about what happened tonight or what?”
I joined her on the couch setting the knife down on the coffee table. “You mean how you didn’t tell your parents about moving in with me?” I asked “ Help me understand that.”
“Ok so I made some poor decisions, but i’m not cheating.”
“I haven’t been with anyone else since I met you.” I said sincerely “ but you need to fix this with your parents before this blows up even more.”
“Ok i’ll go in the morning.”
I shook my head “No invite them over for Dinner.”
“Ok then.” She replied “Goodnight” getting up and walking into the bedroom.
Tonight is the anniversary of the day I claimed the Alpha Position and I must say I’ve had better days,
“I’m almost 30 without a mate I’m losing faith” I tell my beta Jason
“You’re 26 years old, you're still years away from 30 man your time is coming.” Jason replied
“I hope you're right or I'll kill you for lying.” I said with a smile as I walked away
“Haha you're kidding right.” Jason Laughed but his smile faded when he saw him walking away. “Aye you can’t be serious man” Jason yelled running after him.
I walked into my office and sat at my desk only for my mother to burst in 5 seconds later.
“Marcel, you need to be dressed, your dinner is in a hour.” Nina said walking into the office.
“Yea I only need 10 minutes to get ready so I’ll be fine.” I simply replied
“My dear son you have to mingle with your guests. You know the ones you invited.” Nina Insisted
“Alright let me get ready then.” I sighed
“Thank you.” Nina smiled then walked out of the office shutting the door behind her.
I sighed but got up and got ready to greet my guests. It’s a shame that even though i’m 26 my mother still likes to bark orders at me. I looked in the mirror and thanked the moon goddess for another day here on this earth. I went to greet Alpha Devon and Alpha Viola. They are the only Alphas that aren’t completely annoying so why not.
“Ah there he is!” Alpha Devon yelled out
“Nice to see you too Devon.” I said sarcastically
I looked to my left to see Alpha Viola. Yes she is a female Alpha but she damn sure earned that position. “Viola It’s good to see you.” I called
“I wish I could say the same but I'm too focused on why you invited witches?” Viola said while staring me down
“Not that it's any of my business but I wanna know too.” Devon Chimed in
“Well it’s not your business but i’m seeking an alliance with their coven that's all you need to know.” I Replied
“Ugh why would you wanna do that? They can’t be trusted.”
“Maybe but it’s a new era with me as the Alpha trying something new won’t hurt.” I said before walking to the witches to greet them.
Aaliyah the Head of the Witches looked at me with a small smirk on her face “Alpha Hayes what a pleasure to finally meet you in person.” Aaliyah greeted “This is my husband David” Pointing to the tall male “and my daughter Davina.” Gesturing to the Young girl next to them who had her head down
“Nice to meet you and welcome to MoonValley.” I said with a smile until Davina looked up and we Locked eyes as if on que. It was only a split second but I instantly knew she was my mate. I cleared my throat, gaining everyone's attention.
“I’m sure you're all hungry. Let's get this dinner started shall we?” I say walking to the dining hall. Everyone Followed behind me and after I took my seat so did everyone else.
The dinner was fast for only an hour and a half. Aaliyah and her husband had walked outside but Davina was still here talking to my sister Sienna. So I took that as my chance to talk to her.
“Davina do you have a minute.” I asked
“ Um sure.” she answered unsure. Sienna, giving me a questioning look but walked away.
“I know we just met but I wanted to tell you that you are beautiful.”
Davina gave a smile before looking away embarrassed. “Thank you Alpha Hayes.”
I smiled back before speaking again. “ I wanted to talk about--- I was cut off as her phone went off.
“I'm sorry it's my dad they’re waiting for me in the car can we talk another time.” Davina asked with her angelic voice
“Yea no rush, let me get your number so we can meet up.”
“Ok then.” Davina said, asking for my phone. Handing her my phone she put her number in.
“Ok all set, thanks for the dinner, have a good night.” She smiles sweetly. I watched her walk back inside. She was gone but I knew I would see her again and that’s all that mattered.
When I woke up the next morning Davina was the first thing that came to my mind so I called her. The phone rang for what seemed like forever then it stopped.
“Hello?” She answered
“Hey It’s marcel are you free right now?”
“Yea I'm free where are we going?”
“Valley chicken and waffles best in town.”
“Bet, i’m getting ready now.”
“See you in a bit.” I say then hung up the phone. I have to admitI was excited, but I have to approach this carefully if I truly want to end the war between witches and werewolves.
At Valley’s Chicken & Waffles
I got to the spot first and waited probably about 15 minutes before she got here. She walked in looking like the queen she is. I raised my hand letting her know where I was.
“Hey.” She said as she was sitting down.
“Hey thanks for coming.”
“It’s nothing just had to sneak out of the coven is all haha. Do we order or?” she asked shyly
“You had to sneak out? And I already ordered they tend to take at least 30minutes to an hour but they have the best Chicken and waffles the best in Moon Valley.”
“I’m really excited I don’t really get out much strict society you know.” she said, taking a sip of water. (maybe to give more context lol)
“I figured since you said you had to sneak out?” I replied
“Yea, I'm usually too busy practicing spells, flexibility,self defense and many other things.”
“The life of the head witches daughter huh.” I laughed
“Well she’s only Head of the Eternal Rose coven not all witches.” she clarified
“I stand corrected.” I said with a smile
The waiter brought our food over and gave us our drinks. Davina put a couple waffles and chicken wings on her plate. I followed her lead and did the same, we ate in silence. I guess we were both very hungry.
“That was delicious thank you.” Davina said leaning back in her seat
“Glad you liked it.” I smirked
“Sooo what did you wanna talk about?” she asked curiously
“I wanted to talk about you and me.”
“Oh?” she said shyly slightly blushing.
“Yea there's just something about you that makes me wanna get to know you.”
“My parents wouldn’t approve one bit. They are hell bent on me marrying a warlock.” She explained.
“Is that what you want?” I asked her.
“No I actually want something more exciting then a warlock and what’s more exciting than a werewolf. Alpha at that.” she said with her beautiful smile. “My parents can’t know not until I'm ready.” she clarified.
“That's fine with me baby.” I tell her.
She smiles at me brightly. “Right now no one has to know about her because I want her to myself.” I smiled back at her
“No I agree since you know I'm trying to gain your mother alliance.”
Summary: The complicated life of Davina and Marcel. What happens when a witch falls in love with the Alpha? Will they be able to navigate life when everything tries to tear them apart and when unexpected people return from their past? 
I grabbed my bag and ran to the car waiting for me outside. Marcel always had one of his guys on call whenever I needed to go somewhere which I was grateful for. I made it to Katherine's house in about 20 minutes which was good because I was sick of just talking on the phone. I missed my best friend.
“Davina!!” Katherine screamed and ran to me like I was gonna disappear.
I smiled, giving her the biggest hug I could. “I missed you too Kat.”
Katherine led me into her bedroom and we sat down and started to catch up.
“So how’s it going with the Alpha boyfriend.” Kat asked.
“To be real I'm going crazy.” I replied flatley as I laid down on Kat’s bed comfortably.
“What do you mean? Why?” Kat asked.
“We can’t stop arguing. I’m starting to wonder if I'm his lover or toy.” Feeling my eyes starting to water I sit up immediately.
Kat just looked at me shocked and slightly disappointed. “My parents aren’t making it easy for us either.” I sniffled
“Ok do you have him on Instagram?” Kat asked
“Yea why?” I replied wiping the few tears that dropped
“Because you're going to this party with me and the girls tonight.” she said smiling mischievously.
“No I'm not, I just told you we’ve been fighting a lot.”
“Ok and I don't care because guess what?”
I sighed in defeat “What Kat?”
“Because you’re single tonight fuck him!”
I just laughed at her and I couldn’t help it. Kat always brought the party girl out of me and can’t lie because we have a lot of fun when we party.
“I’m staying away from the weed and alcohol this time.” I said getting up.
“That’s fine more for me! Let's get dressed.” she said, hopping up going to her closet.
I actually started to get excited because I loved to dress up. I’m very confident in myself and my body just made my confidence shoot through the roof. Kat put on a black crop top, Black pants and a black leather jacket. I guess she was just feeling the color Black and I even did her make-up.
My outfit basically let people know that I was that bitch aha. I straightened my hair and you already know that the face was slayed.
The club was probably four blocks from Marcel’s house which made me nervous for some reason. Then I started to wonder when other witches started leaving the coven so freely or was I the only one not allowed to leave.I immediately forgot about that as I saw Annie,Stephenie and Lisa sitting at a booth in the club waiting for us.
“Davina You're finally coming out with us? About time.” Lisa said to me
“Yea thanks to Kat.” I laughed.
“Yea, yea but I wanna ask you bitches something?” Kat said seriously. When all our eyes were on her she smiled. “Are you bitches ready to get litt!” Kat screamed out running towards the dance floor.
The girls and I ran right after her laughing ready to have the time of our life. It was 11 pm when my phone started buzzing. When I looked at my phone it was just Marcel ,so I ignored it and continued to dance the night away with my friends because it was our time and I didn’t need his negative energy right now anyways. We danced for what seemed like forever before returning to our table and ordering some drinks.
“My phone started to go off for the 6th time tonight. Knowing it was Marcel I ignored the call and started taking pictures.
“You're still not picking up?” Kat asked
“You said I’m single tonight so why should I.” I replied.
Kat smiled “ I did say that huh?” Before shrugging her shoulders and knocking back a shot. I of course took a shot with her as we continued to turn up. I was posting on Snap and Insta having the time of my life. Kat was getting her flirt on which was completely unsurprising.
I took another shot smiling at my phone taking all the pics I can but was interrupted when someone just snatched my phone out of my hand. I looked up and then sighed because it was none other than Marcel.
“So you don’t know how to answer your phone?” Marcel asked me
“Can I have my phone back please?” I asked.
“Yea after I figure out why you haven’t been answering.” Marcel replied
“I haven’t answered because I don’t have to.” I said, snatching my phone out of his hand.
“Baby are we really doing this tonight?”
“I’m just having fun.” I replied.
“It’s 2:45 Am.”
“Marcel, go away.” Kat told him “This is a stress free night thank you.” I looked at Kat telling her to be quiet.
Marcel looked Kat’s way slightly irritated. “Stress free? So I’m giving you stress?” He asked his attention coming back to me.
“I didn’t say it like that.” I mumbled looking away.
“Of course you didn’t.” He said sarcastically “I’ll wait for you in the car.” he said walking towards the entrance.
“You're not actually gonna follow that fool are you?” Annie chimed in.
I shrugged as I ran my hands through my hair. In the end I ended up saying goodbye to my girls and left the club. Marcel was literally waiting for me outside as his car was the first thing I saw.
Marcel rolled down the passenger window.“Took you long enough.”
“Shut up” I said as I got in the car. He just laughed at me then started driving back to our house.
“So you're just not gonna speake?” He asked as we pulled into the driveway.
“I don’t know what to say to you.” I shrugged getting out of the car and walking into the house sitting on the couch
Marcel sat down next to me on the couch placing a hand on my thigh only for me to remove it immediately.
“Then what do you want me to do?”
“I want you to care.” I sighed, getting frustrated. “I feel as though our relationship isn’t genuine.”
“Our relationship or me?” He asked.
“Honestly both.” I sighed looking down as tears filled my eyes. “I’m always giving into you and don’t even get me started on my parents. I said looking back up at him.
“Marcel, we can't keep doing this. We keep fighting over the same stupid shit then you act like nothing happened. I don't know how much longer I can do this.”
“Oh so you wanna leave? You know that will never work because you're my-”
“Mate! I know Marcel. That's all you ever say. That doesn’t give you the right to treat me the way you do!” I screamed at him as the tears continued to fall.
Marcel POV
I hated to see her cry and I hated it even more that she was crying because of me. I grabbed her pulling her closer to me but she pushed me away instantly.
“Don’t touch me!” She snapped
I threw my head back in frustration. “Bab--”
“Why didn’t you ever mark me?”
“I wanted to, trust me on that, but I knew you weren’t ready.”
“Maybe I would be if you fixed your shit.” She complained.
“I'm just doing what's best for you.”
“No, you're doing what's best for you. That's all you care about!” She yelled getting up from the couch. I reached out to grab her hand but she slapped my hand away. She turned back to look at me with eyes full of anger and sadness.
“I’m done, I can’t keep doing this.”
“Hold up now, let's just calm down.” She rolled her eyes at me but I continued. “Let's finish this later alright. Take some time to clear your head.”
“Fine” she said walking away and into the guest bedroom slamming the door.
The next morning I knocked on the guest room door with bacon and pancakes for Davina. She opened the door and gave me a blank stare.
“What?”
“Breakfast.” I said, handing her the plate of food. She took the food from me slamming the door in my face.
“Babe you said we would talk!” I yelled frustratedly.
“After I eat!” she yelled back but it came out muffled. Probably because she was stuffing her face. I Sighed walking back into the living room to sit on the couch.
Five minutes later Davina finally opened the door, walked into the kitchen cleaning her plate. Walking over to me sitting down next to me she crossed her arms and leaned back.
“Ok go ahead” she said flatley while staring at me.
Raising an eyebrow at her I started to speak. “Look I know things have been really bad lately, but I love you and I’ll do anything to keep you by my side.”
“Actions speak louder than words, you know that?” she replied “you love me and we’ve been together a while and you still haven’t marked me.
“Davina, I do love you. Marking you would officially make you my Luna and also an official leader of this pack. I didn’t wanna just throw it on you.”
She sighed but nodded her head in understanding. “Do you really love me?” She asked as she locked eyes with me.
“I really do.” moving a little closer to her.
“I love you too so I guess I’ll accept your…. Was that an apology?”
“Yes..” I quickly replied
She squinted her eyes at me before her attention was shifted to her phone as it started to ring.
“Hold on, it's my mom.” She said looking the other way she answered. “Hello?”
Davina shifted as if she was now on full alert “What do you need me to do?
I just sat there and watched her silently but I could have swore I heard a couple wolves on the other side of that call. As she hung up her face held an unusual expression.
“What happened?” I asked.
She looked at me. “My mom just said a pack of wolves are closing in. They can’t fight a pack of wolves. Marcel, you have to help.” she pleaded.
“Me?” I question knowing what she meant. “You're telling me a coven of trained witches can’t defend themselves from a pack of wolves?” I question.
“Marcel!” she screamed.
“Alright!” I said getting up but not before mindlinking Jason and my warriors were to meet me. Looking back at Davina, “Stay here I’ll handle this.”
She nodded as I left the house towards the Eternal Rose Coven.
While running in wolf form towards the coven just by the scent I knew the attackers. “It’s the Nightwalker pack!” I yelled through the mindlink.
“You can’t be serious.” Jason responded shocked.

I sped up finally reaching the coven. Grabbing the first nightwalker I saw with my K-9’s instantly snapping its neck as another one tackled me from the side. Jason came tackling him off me in an instant. My warriors were here and the fight had officially begun.
I ran towards the town square where Aaliyah was along with some other very skilled witches and warlocks who were handling the nightwalkers the best they could. I told Jason through mindlink to get everyone to safety. I looked back and he nodded. There were so many wolves attacking from every direction. The witches had created a barrier to keep the rest of the coven protected. A wolf jumped in front of me, locking eyes and growled.
Lunging towards me growling like the mongrel he is. Growling back I lunged forward as well as we squared off. He put up a fight unlike the rest of them. For some reason I couldn't get him off. I finally was able to push him off long enough to see Annie being chased. I tried to run to help her but as I was about to reach her I was blocked by a few wolves as they planned to team up on me. Jason tackled them, giving me the opportunity to get to Annie. As I was closing in on her a wolf tackled me from the right knocking me to the ground. I watch Annie get pulled to the ground. She cried out in pain as the wolf sunk his teeth into her neck. She let out another cry before taking her last breath.
“Fuuck!” I growled out as I smelled her blood and heard her heart stop beating. Annie was one of Davina's closest friends .She's not gonna take this well when I get back. The wolf looked at me snickering. He knew exactly what to do to get under my skin. I ran towards him swinging my claws, tearing him to shreds.
There were so many of them. I killed at least 30 on my own in the past 15 minutes. But we got the job done so now the real question I need to ask is why would they attack the witches like this? I need to find Aalliyah. Disposing of the last wolf I caught her scent. Davina was here. “Shit!” I cursed to myself. “I should have known She wouldn’t listen to me.” I said to myself preparing to have to console a very emotional woman.
