I’ve had several African followers ask me why Blacks in the West are just finding out about this Arab slave trade. I told them that unless it is covered in the mainstream media, most don’t even care. It’s true, slavery in Arab countries has been going on for a very long time. Check YouTube. You will find media stories on this issue going back a few years. Very few even mentioned it. That VICE clip I uploaded recently? That was from TWO YEARS AGO. Where was TD Jakes’ voice then?? This goes to show you that all White media has to do is to snap its fingers and we as Blacks here in the West will care. I just recommended a book that was written back in 2010 that explains the POLITICAL policies that are driving this slave trade. Will people bother to read it? Or does it have to fit in a meme? I love my people. We just have to do better in the area of personal research and stop relying so much on mainstream media.
