There was a far off rumbling and the sound of rocks shifting. A pebble rolled and hit a drop shaped yellow-orange gem. A moment passes and the gem began to glow. It floated up as light spilled from it forming into a person.

Sunstone's feet touched the ground and she rubbed at her eyes sleepily.

"How long was I out?" she asked no one as looked around the cavern she'd been trapped in. The recent rumbling had caused a path to open and she lept at the chance for a change in scenery.

She started off down the new path, her own gentle glow lighting her path.

Rose had never been one who liked to incite a battle first, but she’d found it was becoming more and more necessary as of late .With Homeworld sending their troops to Earth in reply to her rebellion, the Crystal Gems had to stay on top of things or else they would be easily overtaken, most of her soldiers shattered. It was something that Rose worried about quite often, and she’d made a promise to herself and her soldiers: she wouldn’t allow that to happen.

So when the rumors started flying, when Tigers Eye had come flying back to the base in a panic, telling of a downed Homeworld ship, Rose had to take action.

The other Gems were laying low, waiting for someone to emerge first. Whether it were Rose or the Enemy Gems would determined their actions, whether or not they would attack the unsuspecting gems or stand down. But for the moment, it was just Rose Quartz who entered the ship, armed with both the sword and shield as she carefully managed her way in. 

She cut an intimidating figure, a massive Quartz gem that stood darkly in the entrance. She didn’t know if this ship was still manned, but it was her job to find out.
