I read recently that there are mutations in frogs in the exclusion zone around Chernobyl and with my increasing penchant for frogs as symbols in my art I have been waiting for the opportunity to explore them as visual motifs. Finished the biggest Duathlon event Powerman Indonesia 2018. Started the race with a low level of confidence, I realized I haven't had enough bike nor run training for the race. • Race report: 5K RUN Turned out to be a solid run. Took a little longer on the T1, I had to empty my bladder first before I went on the bike 😂 • 30K BIKE As I already expected, I can't keep up the pace. Cramp on both legs at KM 7, so I tried pedalling with one leg at a time, just to keep me moving. (Note: Remind yourself to hydrate every 10-15 minutes on the bike) • 5K RUN Tried to walk first just after exit the T2 just to release tension on my calfs. The second run wasn't so bad but a glimpse "error" on my legs forced me to do different strategy, so I run-walk (1 min run, 30 sec walk), and managed finish with a smile. • Total time 2:26:20 (unofficial).
