Checkout the two @blackbutterflyammunition .450 Bushmaster Tomahawk Bullets we pulled from Tyler's sow! What a chunk of metal. The one on the right was from a head shot which dropped the sow in her tracks. The one on the left was put square in the brisket as she was flopping just to make sure she didn't get up and evacuate the danger zone. Wow! What a night! After battling temperatures into the upper 90s, and mosquito after mosquito this big guy finally came out before 12:00am. Fortunately I was able to lower the boom on him and drop him in his tracks. Thanks to michael with @3DNightVision, @black_widow_deer_lures Hot-N-Horny Hog scent and @ergogrip for making such great products that helped bring this guy in and lay this ole battled scarred boat down! We've been watching this guy for some years now but never had a crack at him he was just too unpredictable and smart. We could always tell it was him because of his ripped ear. Me and this 'ol gal have gone around and around for 3 years. She's always hid in the shadows as I harvested other hogs and became super smart. She rarely traveled with other hogs unless she dropped piglets. Tonight she came in with 2 other medium sized hogs and 6 of her own piglets but stayed 50yds away from them at all times. If they walked towards her she would back up to maintain a safe distance. She fed in the field and never had any intentions of going to the bait. Great thing I had the 3D Night Vision mounted on my @performance_gunworks BD-15 .450. If I would have turned on a light with her, she would have checked out. It all came together and I was able to harvest this Matriarch Sow from this area.
